Job Responsibilities:

Procurement:
• Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order
to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Excellent in Local & Overseas Market.
• Control purchasing department budgets.
• Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material
availability.
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute
materials.
• Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
• Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.

Logistic:
• The procedure starts from checking and acquiring the prices from the supplier.
• Placing the order & follow-up for proforma invoice with payment terms.
• Upon weight and dimension mode of shipment is decided, whether it should be lifted by AIR or SEA.
• Obtaining quotations from various shipping companies for freight.
• Follow up of shipments thru e-mail, fax & telephone.
• Keeping the customers posted about the status of the shipments and the documents.
• Liaison with Accounts Dept.
• Once shipment arrives, Customs Clearance arranged.

Inventory:
•The goods are entered into the system as Inward upon arrival at warehouse.
• All data such as price of the goods, freight charges, customs charges and miscellaneous charges are entered into the system as Inward.
• Creating masters in the software.
• An entry is passed as Outward when goods are out from the warehouse.
• Maintain the stock level.
• Co-ordination with Store.
• Conducting annual inventory
* All the above Inventory work is done on Focus Software
