As an accounting manager in one of the leading suppliers of power solutions, industrial and manual tools in the Middle East and Africa.
I am in charge of:- Ttracking sales volumes in the local market based on reports conducted periodically and determining which inventories are either fast-moving or slow-moving - Coordinating with the bank for issues of receiving checks, bank transfers to suppliers or from clients . - Ensuring best procedures are taken with customs of the state. - Managing collections of past-due accounts - monitoring the expenses accounts. - Reporting to the management.
As a retail salesperson ( 3-month-contractual employment) tried to sell a wide-array of payment cards disposing at client’s interest all the convenience and luxury to make payments smooth and to insure that his/her account is accessible at anytime and anywhere.
I have had created a customized business model for the hotel tackling with issues of : upgrading new amenities and services to the guests / cutting-off rising costs of supplies through contracting with new suppliers of laundry, cleaning materials, maintenance … etc / emphasizing the need to get guests’ feedback and what new ideas they might have.
I handled with customers’ questions, controlled finances at the reception mainly directing the preparation of financial reports that summarize and forecast the organization's financial position and generating monthly and year-end reports.
I participated in the workshops organized at the aim of acknowledging the importance of the Central Bank, the national economic plans, the regulatory system governing the country, securing the wise performance of the banking sector, controlling money markets (supply and demand) and financial markets, securing stable exchange rate against several currencies, and the functionality of the national payment system in the whole economy.
As an online-sales specialist
I implemented strategic and tactical sales dealing with domestic and international travel distributors and representing the hotel in exhibitions of hospitality industry (e.g. HORECA) increasing hotel’s visibility and enhancing its position in the travel market .
This post has allowed me contribute in finding new sources of cash and improving hotel’s sales (Revenue management) by contracting with online distributors, wholesalers boosting hotel’s sales throughout the whole year and deal with guests of different perceptions and experiences.
