I am working with SIEMENS as Senior electrical site engineer in Egypt.
The project is EL TAHRIR Steigenberger Hotel & QNB head quarter in Egypt (300
Million EGP).
The owner of the project is HOTAC, the main contractor is SIAC, PM is Hill int..
My responsibilities :-
1. I am the site engineer responsible for executing Electrical, Data, Telephone, Sound
, Fire alarm & BMS networks and as built drawings for the previous systems and
making invoices and reviewing them with the consultant.
2. Coordinate the electrical load and locations for all mechanical equipments with the
mechanical department and providing BMS input and output points & connecting
the sensors to the LCPs for those equipments and other equipments.
3. Installation of all cable trays, cable trunk and all the cables and making megger test
for each cable.
4. Installation of all the panel boards in each flat and the main substation including the
RMU, MV switchgear and the transformers.
I am working with DSI as electrical project engineer in the technical office.
The project is JODP (Jabal Omar Development Project) a residential & hotels buildings consisting of 48 towers in Mecca our scope was the third phase consisting of the two main towers with other two towers and podiums (2.7 Billion SAR project).
The owner of the project is JODC, the main contractor is ACC & sub-contractor DRAKE & SCULL Int.
The project consisted of :-
1- Two main Hilton 5 stars towers each 42 floors including junior, superior & presidential sweets along with the various types of rooms.
2- Two 3 Hilton 3 stars towers each 33 floors including various types of rooms.
3- Two podium buildings each 11 floors including 4 floors for parking areas and the rest of the floors are mall & retail area for both podiums.
My responsibilities :-
1. I’m responsible for making, reviewing and submitting of all lighting and power layouts of both the two podiums buildings.
2. I make full engineering work for load calculation per each circuit, making voltage drop calculation & choosing cables, breakers and wires.
3. Making full panel board schedules for the podiums.
4. studying the design and sending RFI’s to clarify the conflict between the drawings and the specs and the general notes.
5. Making cable tray and cable trunking for each floor with complete section details for each cable tray verifying the space required by the standard.
6. Making complete design & shop awing including panel boards schedules and conduiting and wiring which matches with the specified supplier for all the full project including the four towers and the two podiums.
7. Make coordination between CBS supplier and the lighting control suppliers as there where two different control systems in the project ( Lutron & KNX ).
8. Making furniture layout for the electrical rooms and substations in the podiums floors.
9. Supply the coordination department with the required detailed drawings for all systems to make final coordination shop drawing.
I am working now with SSE as electrical site inspector engineer.
The project is AL JAWHRA TOWER a high rise tower residential building consisting of 49 floors in JEDDAH (500 million SAR project).
The owner of the project is DAMAC properties & the contractor is DRAKE & SKULL Int.
My resposiblities :-
1. review the shope drawings accordings to codes and spec's.
2. review takoffs and the material submitals with my senior engineer and comparing them with the spec's.
3. Inspecting the contractor various stages of work and evaluate it.
4. Assure that the progress on site is going according to the time scheduel of the project.
I also participated in the project of renovation of the pool deck floor in the FOUR SEASON hotel in GIZA EGYPT & it's handover and pricing it's items.
I made the electrical design and excuted the Villa of Mr. Mohamed hamdoun ( HR manager in EL-MANE' GROUP - QATAR ) in el Obour city.
I made the electrical design and excuted the Villa of Captain Alaa Nabeel ( the previous coatch of the egyptian national team & AL AHLY JORDAN club ) in el Obour city.
I made the electrical design and excuted the landscape Villa of Mrs. Yassmin Mohamed Faried Kamees ( Board member of EL NASAGOON AL SHARQYOON ) in GOLF HEIGHTS.
Project Engineer in Azara group
The project ( Egypt Air buildings for maintenance and technical work) at Cairo airport (160 million EGP project).
The owner of the project is Egypt Air lines company & the contractor was Midetrinean Contracting Company.
I was the project engineer responsible for making the shop drawing for Electrical, Data, Telephone, Sound, Fire alarm & Clock networks and asbuilt drawings for the previous systems and making invoices and reviewing them with the consultant.
I was also the executive engineer for all the previous networks .
