• Measure projects based on Bills Of Quantities as the work proceeds, on site and value at contract rates
• Prepare valuations for payments on account at the intervals stated in the contract and agree with Clients
• Prepare estimates of likely cost of variations on receipt of copies of Client instructions
• Prepare or agree final account with Client
• Participating site meetings with Clients and Construction Team
• Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks
• Preparing and presenting estimates, cash flow & cost management advice to clients
• Advising on procurement strategy; Working to keep the project within the budget
• Coordinating with the Clients, Consultants and other members of the engineering team on day-to-day basis for various construction issues
• Carry out such other duties as may properly be those of a Project Quantity Surveyor

Review tender documentation and conditions and deal with changes during the tender period

To Manage and Control the Tender Process through liaison with Other Departments

Obtain and Evaluate material quotations from preferred vendors, manufacturer

Taking of Quantities from Drawings (Architectural & Structural etc.)

Calculated costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

Preparing Comparative statement

Estimated labor, material, and time requirements

Assembled and displayed numerical and descriptive information to present prepared estimate

Ensured maintenance of cost data base by entering and backing up data

Scrutiny of tender documents

Floating Enquiries to Suppliers / Manufacturers

Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations

Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product

Taking of Quantities from Drawings (Architectural & Structural etc.)

Based on Clients budget constraints, carrying out Value engineering studies

Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records.

Assisting in compiling of tenders (Technical & Commercial Submissions)

Knowledge of FIDIC & CESEM

Attend the tenders site visits & pretender meeting as required by the Client

 Study the Architectural drawings & understand the structural requirements
 Creating Structural (STAAD-PRO) Model based on Architect requirements
 Modeling (Sectional Properties, Load, Support Condition etc) the Structure
 Organize, draft, and coordinate technical documents
 Prepare the Structural Report for Municipal Approval
 Prepare the Structural Drawings (RCC) & Bar Bending Schedule
 Held the Site inspection & find out the discrepancy between the Drawings & Site condition
 Convey the site status report to Senior, follow up them and transfer their valuable suggestion to site
 Having the Design Knowledge of Residential, Commercial & Public Buildings etc.
 Knowledge of Civil & Structural design criteria, specifications and other relevant standards in accordance with codes of practice and building design codes
