- Monitoring and coordinate project work strategies and reviews as appropriate to meet project requirements.
- Coordination with external bodies like Government bodies and External Main Contractors for the permitting and external interface issues.
- Coordinate with client, consultant, JV partners, and maintain progress of work, resolving hindrances and timely deliverables.
- Detect construction Clashes and disputes and promptly resolve through technical analysis.
- Resolve cross-functional issues at the project level.
- Assist BIM modeller in the clash detection for the Civil, Architectural, MEP, Signalling and Telecom and BACS services and coordinated design in Revit.
- Technical coordination with all disciplines and submission of coordinated design, material submittal for MEP services as per project requirement.
- Ensuring that the construction team is kept supplied with the current and relevant input data relating to civil, architectural, MEP, signalling & telecom and BACS in a format that is coherent and usable.
- Coordinate with construction team and other relevant parties to ensure works are being carried out by method statement, risk assessment and permits.
- Analyse and implement the design change request with appropriate technical interface and coordination with all related disciplines to meet project requirements.
- Coordinate with the quality department for corrective/ remedial action, where deficiencies are detected.
- Assist and updating construction programme with planning team.
- Coordinate with joint venture partner THALES (Signalling and Telecommunication for railway system) for the related interface and other internal engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated design and implementation of work at site.
- Develop, maintain and improve dynamic and long-term business relationships with independent contractors and vendors vital to divisional success as well as negotiate best possible rates for their products and services.
- Coordinate with sub-contractors and suppliers for their respective scope of work, timely deliverables of local/imported material and monitor the progress of work on site.
- Interface coordination with other railway contractors responsible to implement Passenger Station, Head Quarter, Operation Control Centre, Depot and ensure the system are integrated successfully.
- Coordinate with planner and updating construction program as per requirement with recommended action for three weeks look ahead plan.
- Detect construction clashes and promptly resolves through site surveys at relative locations.
- Conduct onsite visit and coordinate with construction crew and operations personnel.
- Proactively interact with all organizational departments to ensure the efficient and timely completion of project.
- Take appropriate action and coordinate with the Consultant / Client for the closure of non conformance raised during the execution of the project.
- Analyse the change request and incorporate the design changes as per approval of the management, consultant and client.
- Monitor and encourage procurement undertakings as required while providing the timely delivery of components.
- Preparation of project status report by collecting, analysing, summarizing information; recommending action to Project Manager and Operation Manager.
- Actively participate in the meetings; Coordination and interface meeting, JV meeting, progress review meeting, construction site meeting and quality control meetings.
Accomplishments:
- Visited Germany in September 2015 and November 2015 for conducting the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) in Germany. The test was successful, followed by the acceptance of complete deliverable of the material.
- Awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of valuable contribution to quality control, HSE and Risk Assessment of the North South Railway Project - Saudi Arabia.
- Successfully handed over the project works as per Client requirement.
- Cost estimation, dealing & price negotiation with the vendors for parts localization.
- Managing & guiding sectional engineers in furnishing technical Cost Breakups for various automotive parts involving material, design, development, manpower, transportation, packing cost.
- Detailed working on manufacturing processes & respective dies & moulds involved in the development of any automotive components.
- Visiting vendor’s premises, to assess their production facilities & guiding them to promote culture of continuous quality improvement & changes for betterment. (Japanese 5S & Kaizen).
- Expediting annual Cost Down targets of the section through various costs down techniques including Value Analysis & Value Engineering (VAVE).
- Submission of monthly progress report of department & Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan.
Accomplishments:
- Develop a cost assessment procedure with detail breakup including technical detail, manpower, transportation, material handling, overheads and profit.
- As a result of my participation in VAVE, selected to visit India - Maruti Suzuki Udyog Ltd. and several other vendors in May 2007 for the awareness of technical system development and implementations of value analysis and value engineering.

- Preparation and submission of shop drawings based on tender drawing and project design/client requirement.
- Selection of HVAC equipments, preparation of technical submittals for HVAC system, including chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, chilled water and condenser water pump.
- Installation, operation & maintenance of air conditioning plant.
- Planning, scheduling and preparation of monthly progress report using MS Project.
