Job Responsibilities
• Collaborating in warehouse operational activities with Sales & Marketing department to mature availability of fast moving brands in Central Warehouse as well as Agent/Distributors warehouses.
• Support new launches, process improvement and cost saving projects, developing more business with logistics planning by making quarterly forecast/projections to maintain par stock level of brands by analysis on profit evaluation of selected brands which generate high revenue in company. Raising timely purchase order to suppliers and track backorders accordingly to prevent any shortfall in distribution process.
• Planning of distributor stock replenishment using VMI model by Introducing Real Time Inventory for Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment. Scrutinize Customers purchase order, Performa Invoices, back orders and lead the warehouse team on arrangement of daily delivery schedules accordingly.
• Managing all Local UAE distribution by maintaining efficient delivery Schedules to minimized delivery cost of our own fleet & outsource delivery if required. Monitoring all warehouse operations including bi-weekly inventory reconciliation to ensure 0% discrepancy, monitoring receipt/dispatch notes as well as Import / Export / Transit documents as have operational knowledge of WMS & TMS as well as ERP applications.
• Assisting Suppliers/Customers on product Specifications & registration process, Customs & Municipality regulations by supporting them on required Import & Export documentation for Air, Sea & Land shipments by monitoring overall shipping operations, as have ground level operational knowledge of Customs & Municipality & Chamber documentation & Clearance, local embassies legalization.
• Excellent Operating Command on Mirsal-2 - Dubai Trade Portal, Dubai Municipality & Dubai Chamber portal.
Effectively follow all Ports Municipality & Customs operational Standard procedures in Container Terminals & CFS Containers, cross border regulations of GCC transit shipment. Including their Rates tariff as well as Monitoring/Trouble shooting Municipality, Customs & chamber Declarations/Claims/Refund/Makasa e.t.c.
• Optimizes land transportation of all inbound/outbound shipments, including food products and food contact Products with ensuring best practices have being used to prioritizes timely movement of shipments,
• Negotiate/scrutinize the rates with shipping agents by selecting low cost shipping mode and to secure minimum lead time in transit.
