Provide administrative assistance to the IT manager in technical and project implementation fields.
• Maintain computer systems, maximizing system functionality and efficiency. Respond promptly to minimize any system downtime, including weekends.
• Install new or rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, directories etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Ensure stability and continuity of Exchange and data servers. Provide system recovery plan in case of hardware or software failure.
• Maintain and manage the primary domain controller at the head office in addition to the domain controllers at each site. Check DNS, DHCP, and replication status between sites.
• Contact IT product vendors to exchange defective components in computers and servers under warranty. In addition, coordinate with them to ensure smooth running of all company servers and tape loaders.
• Manage system support team to provide better IT support for the organization.
• Lead and manage projects including new site openings and system upgrades.
