Position: Resident Engineer at Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB).
Description:
ADIB is one of the largest Islamic Bank in UAE consisting 65 Branches and 400+ ATM machines across UAE
o implement WAN and LAN connection for the western region sites .
Tasks included :
o Design, planning, implementation and support of Local and Wide area complex networks using Cisco Product range with different technologies as per business requirement including Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, MPLS, Frame Relay, Leased Circuits etc.
o Established point-to-point IP/VPN WAN connections between the remote sites and HQ.
o Configured multi-layer switching network with inter-routing via HSRP (redundant / load sharing) network.
o Configure EIGRP between HQ campus and the remote sites.
o Troubleshoot links, loops, network bottle-nicks and other issues for HQ campus and remote sites.
Responsible for Design, install and configure all network devices as well as security devices.
Troubleshoot all Network problems and Fix them.
Connect all U.A.E member banks and all U.A.E Exchange institutions with Central Bank and make sure that all of them are able to use Central bank services.
Position: Resident Engineer at Ministry Of Interior ( MOI ).
Description:
Aim was to monitor and maintain a full enterprise advanced WAN/OSPF network of Ministry of interior all around UAE as well as to configure the new coming sites.
Tasks included :
Monitoring the network stability, backbone routers status, other devices status and their inventories
using dedicated tools such as; SNMP Rockwell, and Solarwinds Orion.
Monitoring links performance and utilizations, main routers CPU utilizations and report status or suggesting SW/HW/Link Speed upgrades if needed using Solar winds Engineering tools, and OpManager Netflow analyzer.
Dealing with advanced OSPF parameters (AD, costs, redistribution, rout-filtering, path selection …etc)
Doing regular backups and checking the configurations of the cores for clean-ups.
Troubleshoot links, loops, network bottle-nicks and other issues for HQ campus and remote sites.
