Partnership Officer at INJAZ

My unit deals with career guidance and inspirational programs for Jodanian youth in schools and universities across Jordan. Our goal is to tackle the issue of 'youth inactivity'. My unit encompasses a variety of programs targeting youth at different levels of education, and in different regions around Jordan (12 local governorates). My role is Partnership Officer of the unit, who deals directly with partners from the private and public sector, and international contributors.

Main objective:
- To ensure a sound relationship with INJAZ’ partners, and to approach new potential partners to create new relationships and discover opportunities for securing sponsorships.
- To maintain good relationships with existing partners and discuss new potentials for collaboration with them, through effective communication and regular visits.
- To approach and attract new private or public sector partners, and provide them with a clear understanding of INJAZ’ programs through communication, documents, or contacts with other INJAZ staff members.
- To follow entity’s action plan and support partners during any events or activities on the field.

Responsabilities and day to day tasks:

Main:
- Reach out to new and existing partners via e-mail and phone calls.
- Visits to potential new partners or to follow up with exiting partners.
- Prepare proposals or needed documentation to send to partners.
- To schedule, synchronize and communicate appointments with partners, such as signing ceremonies.
- To record all communications and activities, whether anticipated / or completed.
- To generate and prepare reports for partners.
- To communicate with higher management and include them in on any important updates.

Secondary:
- To meet regularly with the Partnership staff from other entities to learn about arising opportunities, sharing information. (weekly)
- To report to management on any updates regarding new sponsors, potentials, or scheduled activities.
- To escort partners (weekly)
- To support other entity members with their tasks to ensure our team reaches its objectives. (When applicable)
- To support fellow partnership colleagues and other entities with their tasks to ensure organizational standards are kept high. (When applicable)
- To assist with the implantation of Partners retention activities such as: appreciation events, appreciation advertisements and distributing giveaways etc, and ensure that all agreed upon issues are met from our side regarding marketing material, reporting and coverage.

Service Request Assistant and Trainer at Estarta Solutions (CISCO TAC Amman)

Service Request Assistants act as intermediates between CISCO customers all over the world and CISCO engineers from Technical Assistance Centers (TACs) in Belgium and Jordan. The SRA members are required to address customers’ requests and tend to opened cases by e-mail and telephone, to frequently update cases with non-technical material and implement necessary follow up with CISCO engineers. I was also responsible for internally monitoring staff's communication (QA), evaluating their work and reporting to management. My responsibility also included training and orienting new staff members.
