Project Description:
Mubarak pumping station at Toshka project with a main goal of development of part of the western desert
(new valley) by supplying fresh water for farming and irrigation purposes through new feeder Canals.
The project included Site investigation, man camp, dewatering, intake channel, discharge duct, workshop, 11k v
switchgear, diesel generator building, water treatment building, and sewage building post tension, slip form
and finishing ceramics.
Owner: The mechanical and electrical department, ministry of Water sources and irrigation
Consultants: Edipco Sogreah Consortium.
Contractor: EEJC (Egyptian European Japanese Consortium, AIC-Cairo, Skanska -London, Hitachi -Tokyo with
lamprey Hamza Engineering consortium.
Project value: 1.5 Billion LE.
Responsibility: Responsible for carrying out all civil works (Carpentry, Reinforcement)
