1. Preparing the class schedules, and instructors' teaching load, coordinating with the head of PYP.
2. Checking and following up the instructors' lesson plans on daily basis, and making sure that the scheme of work is properly followed. Any violations to the instructions related to lesson plans should be reported.
3. Following up and checking students' progress through seeing their test results, quizzes, etc.
4. Making sure that one short quiz/activity is given bi/week (To be included in the weekly report, who did it and did not do it). Instructors should pass a quiz copy and sample marked papers to the coordinator, and a copy of the quiz/worksheet/activity should be kept in the course portfolio.
5. Writing a one page report about work progress, and sending it to ELC . A copy of this report must be sent to the dean and the Vice Dean. The report should cover:
- Instructors' commitment to their classes by name, attendance, late arrivals, late class starts, lesson plans, and portfolios,
- Students' attendance,
- Peer Observation,
- Problems and concerns related to either the instructors or the students in the program.
Responsibilities for Examination Committee:
1. This committee is responsible for supervising the activities of the departmental
examination committees which are: preparing and implementing examinations (first
and second) schedules of various departments, and providing the list of invigilators for
each multi-section electronic exam or any other exam that needs more than one
invigilator.
2. Monitor the process of electronic examination that is managed by the committee of
department which has the responsibility of avoiding any possible problems during
examination.
3. Provide suggestions to solve any problems that may occur during examination by
coordinating with the staff of electronic learning center and/or with the coordinator of
the exam.
4. Make sure that all written exams are held in accordance with the regulations of the
University.
I have to be responsible for ensuring that the units produced adhere to an established quality
standard. Specific duties of a quality assurance assistant position include overseeing the entire
production process, looking out for specific problems, minutely observing the units of goods produced
for visible defects, performing various tests on the samples drawn, noting down observations,
accepting and rejecting lots on the basis of samples checked, assisting in implementation of quality
control programs, assisting in preparation of training manuals and quality guidelines, and performing
other tasks assigned by the quality Manager.
Under the general direction of the Dean I provide executive, administrative and analytically support to
the Dean in a wide variety of areas including: special projects, budgets, correspondence, maintenance
of the Dean’s calendar and problem solving for the day-to-day operations of the Dean’s Office. The
incumbent will coordinate activities on the Dean’s behalf, act as liaison to senior management across
campus, oversee administrative support to the Dean and general Dean’s office communications,
independently identify issues or problems within specific management areas and research issues,
prioritize tasks and work independently with a high degree of confidentiality.
