The company is working in the field of electronic products assembly and development. The company is a Manufacturing Contractor for some of Samsung products . Samsung CRT, LCD & LED TV's are assembled at the SKD level. The company have also assembled mobile phones at the CKD level for the benefit of the big mobile companies.
The company also works in design and implementation of CCTV security systems. The company operates 100 workers. As a planning & projects department manager I have been greatly involved in setting and writing the ISO 9001 standards, policies and procedures.
I am also responsible for overall company strategy and performance. Developing Strategic plans at top management levels and annual operational plans at departmental levels is one of my major duties. Execution of annual plans at departmental levels and where they deviate is also a major task.
Developing new ideas and performing technical and financial appraisals (feasibility studies) are also a major task that is performed by department of projects and planning.

Projects follow up and resource allocation and sharing for projects is also a major task that my department performs as a Project Management Office (PMO). Extensive follow up of projects using Primavera (P6) is performed.

For ongoing continuous operations, Production Planning & Control is also a major task which I perform with production department manager. This includes material requirements planning (MRP), quality control, inventory levels and production scheduling.


Overall Marketing performance and financial performance of the company is also one of my major responsibilities. Targeted sales plans and revenues are a major task that I follow up and their execution with the Managing Director. Returns on Investment, Profitability and other financial measures are a major issue in my job.. See less

Royal Paints worked under direct supervision of British/Turkish Consultant Bodies. As a General Manager I was responsible for the business development of ROYAL PAINTS. I established production, marketing & accounts/finance systems for the company. I developed the company’s vision, mission and values. I had to set both long and short term goals and strategies that will enable company achieve its vision. Marketing plans included establishing relationships with key customers including construction companies. Initially Products to be launched were market studied. Water based coating Products (Emulsions) and Oil Based coating Products (Enamels) were developed, their launching was a great success. In addition to production targets production plans included setting & maintaining quality standards. As part of the continuous development for staff, technical training and educational workshops were part of the main human resources plans. Profit margins, ROI and other profitability measures have been part of the financial plans. Board of directors held the general manager accountable for their objectives and goals achievement. Of particular concern to BOD was company’s image and the profitability measures. This placed pressure on management to increase its effectiveness by ensuring goals are accomplished through proper planning, training, communicating values & thru provision of an environment suitable for achievements and of being results oriented, offering incentives appropriately where they should.
I have established the tin/plastics factory in order to supply the paints industry with its packaging needs. The company also invested in an alkyd resin reactor to produce long oil soya alkyd. These additional investments helped the company gain excellent competitive edges over competitors. Profitability went up remarkably. More industrial coatings including NC coatings were introduced and successfully launched.. See less

As a marketing manager i organized and performed market researches to study market and its needs. Accordingly products were produced to market requirements and were able to hit competitors quality and price wise. Several paints and tableware products were launched successfully.
Designed and carried out promotional campaigns and marketing offers to promote company products and set sales plans. Regular Visits to key customers to determine their requirements and to provide technical support and assistance were made. Marketing plans successfully accomplished and several products turned into cash cows. Established a strong Marketing/Production relationship to ensure products are produced to customer requirements and to ensure customer feedback is well taken care of in production. This relationship has been the main guide to new products development and helped R&D develop the products according to market needs. 1. Measuring Surface Roughness Measurement Using Artificial Intelligence.
2. Pollution Prevention In Egyptian Automotive Industry.
