I have set up the company in August 2012. We are the Project Managers of an Elite 5 stars Arabic Restaurant at the Pearl Qatar.
We are the Project Managers of Dallah Food Factory as well. We were involved in the Budgeting, Feasibility Study and Business Plan. We are managing the Procurement Schedule as well.
Osool is a leading Brokerage and Financial Investments firm based in Riyadh. As a Deputy CEO, I controlled the Daily Operations of the Company, and directly supervised the Retail Relationship Management and Marketing.
My main responsibility was to increase the trading volume, and thus the profitability of the operation, and to establish the credibility of the firm, through gaining the trust of our clients.
The company owns and operates Malls and Family Entertainment Centers. I was responsible for:
• Developing the Franchised Chain Restaurants-QSR, business.
• Negotiating Franchise Agreements with Principles.
• Reviewing & co-signing NDA’s (Non-Disclosure Agreements).
• Conducting Due Diligence Analysis on the Principles’ operations.
• Drafting & co-signing MOU’s (Memorandum of Understanding)
• Developing the 5 years Business Plan.
• Preparing Feasibility Studies.
• Preparing Budget Forecasts and Financial analysis.
I was successful in signing letters of Intent for two Concepts. I was also asked to manage the operations of 8 FEC locations employing 150 technical and service staff in different cities across the Kingdom for a period of six months.
I joined Fahed Foods Liaison Office in Dubai, (Bin Ablan Foodstuff Trading) in Dec 1998. Due to the fast pace of Hospitality developments in Qatar, we decided to shift our operation to Qatar.
I set up Fahed Foods in January 1999; it quickly became a major player in the gourmet Food & Beverage supply to the HORECA and Retail market. I recruited and managed a team of 24 professionals and ensured the marketing, supply and distribution channels were highly efficient and the customers’ satisfaction was always maintained.
I was successful in signing Sole Distribution Agreements for Qatar, for the following Blue Chip agencies:
• Nestle Waters-Vittel, Perrier France
• Elle & Vire Dairy Products France,
• Bongrain Cheeses France
• Patisfrance Bakery Ingredients France,
• Midamar Halal Us Meat,
• Butter Ball Turkey USA,
And we also represented & distributed many other leading Retail Food Brands such as:
• Jordans Cereals UK
• Boiron Purees from France
• Rienert Cold Cuts Germany
• Languiru Chicken from Brazil.
Our main contacts in the HORECA business were the decision makers like F&B Managers, Executive Chefs and Purchasing Managers.
I was appointed by United Hotels Company in Kuwait, to manage two of their old properties in Mauritania, one in the capital, Nouakchott, and the other in Nouadhibou. UHC wanted to divest from this investment and commissioned me to take over from the previous Manager, upgrade the properties as much as I can, and start negotiations with local firms to sell the two Hotels. I have successfully accomplished the mission in less than a year.
I have accepted an offer to manage a three stars hotel in Amman. Major renovations entailing an allocation of large capital investments were required, yet unavailable at the time.
With two partners, I have established and successfully managed the daily operations of a medium size retail outlet (supermarket) in the up-market neighborhood of umm Uthaina-Amman. We had a Wholesale and a retail divisions of the Centre. We supplied Catering companies, grocery stores and for a period of one year, the UN office in Amman.
I decided to make a career change and handed over the management to my partner while keeping my shares.
I set up a Food Service/Catering Company together with two prominent Qatari Businessmen. Our first catering project was the Qatar University Housing 500 man days over 18 months period.
We rapidly expanded the business and managed the following QSR and Cafeterias:
• Montazah Social Club, with two swimming pools/tennis courts two restaurants/clubhouse and a recreation area.
• Doha Airport Park Restaurant -QSR.
• Doha Zoo Cafeteria.
• Ladies Park Coffee Shop.
• Al Shaab FEC Cafeteria.
The Doha Sheraton hotel and Conference Centre, was, and still is, the pride and jewel of both Qatar and the Sheraton group. The Property was the main venue for Government, Corporate, International Conferences, Exhibitions, and trade fairs in Qatar.
My areas of responsibility were:

• Organizing Art & Entertainment Events.
• Rooms Sales Revenue
• Food & Beverage, Outside Catering & Banqueting Sales Revenue.
I attended Conrad N. Hilton School, one of the highly accredited HRM Universities in the USA, and was awarded my Bachelors Degree in HOTEL & RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT in 1982. It was a valuable academic and practical experience that has helped me join and succeed in one of the best hotel chains in the world, the Sheraton.
HIGH SCHOOL Diploma (TAWJEEHI), Victoria is a highly acclaimed private British style school. Among its graduates are the late king Hussein of Jordan and Omar el sheriff, the famous actor.
