• Preparing the monthly group reporting package and financial dashboard with in-depth explanation of variances for each P&L/Balance Sheet lines and presenting the results to CEO, Business Heads and CFO.
• Providing risk management on financial and commercial risks emanating from regular operations, market fluctuations & demand supply stress.
• Headed the in-depth annual budget preparation and finalization process with bottom-up approach i.e. from volume, pricing, promotional discounts and product mix to expected gross revenue per brand.
• Leading Annual Statutory Financial Reporting, Zakat (Tax) returns submission, Accounts Payable, disbursements, general accounting function.
• Pro-actively monitored control activities to ensure that group guidelines/policies are strictly adhered and risks are adequately mitigated beforehand.
• Ensuring all the transaction and events are accounted for in accordance with the requirements of International Financial Reporting & International Accounting Standards (IFRS & IAS).
• Key member in the implementation of VAT and IFRS Convergence project on group level.
