As a Multimedia Lecturer at the University of Bahrain, I instructed and advised a diverse group of over 1000 students, guiding them towards their desired aspirations and goals. Alongside the program director, I played a crucial role in updating curricula and establishing new programs. I was entrusted by the Dean to lead a team of faculty members in attaining quality assurance and accreditation from both local and international agencies. Additionally, I dedicated my time to volunteer work with the Youth Innovative Center (YIC), conducting workshops on digital photography and video production. Furthermore, I actively participated in Page 4 of 8 InJAz programs, bringing valuable educational experiences to secondary schools across the Kingdom of Bahrain. Throughout these endeavors, I consistently demonstrated strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
In my capacity as a Projects Manager at Steel International Trading & Cont. Co. in Saudi Arabia, I successfully oversaw the scheduling and execution of multiple multimillion SAR projects throughout the country. With a keen focus on financial management, I ensured that all projects were delivered within budget and on schedule by closely monitoring their financial aspects and implementing necessary adjustments as needed. Demonstrating strong project management skills, I efectively utilized CPM techniques to schedule and execute projects while maintaining a firm grip on budgets and timelines. Moreover, my excellent communication and problem-solving abilities played a pivotal role in coordinating with team members and clients, ultimately leading to the successful completion of projects.
As a Lecturer of Instructional Technology at the University of Bahrain, I facilitated courses such as Video Production I & II, Photography, Desk Top Publishing, and Computer Mediated Communication (CMC). In addition, I acted as a faculty advisor for 40 students and eficiently coordinated multiple departmental committees. Notably, I developed and implemented a comprehensive eLearning course for Video Production I, subsequently ofering it online. Collaborating with the Youth Innovative Center (YIC), I delivered a 2-month workshop on Introductory and Advanced Digital Photography. Throughout these responsibilities, I showcased strong instructional prowess, efective leadership abilities, and exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
As a Communication and Training Consultant at UNESCO's Amman ofice, I had the privilege of spearheading various projects across the Middle East and MENA region. These initiatives were funded through both the Regular Program Budget and Extra-Budgetary (IPDC) resources. Working closely with the Regional Director for Information and Communication, I played a crucial role in project implementation. This encompassed organizing and executing training programs, as well as media development initiatives in Jordan and the wider MENA region. Additionally, I took charge of producing and directing a UN Film for UN Day in 2000, while also contributing to the planning and organization of the Irbid Knowledge Centre. Furthermore, I established a Media Resource Centre at the UNESCO Amman ofice, overseeing the installation of equipment and providing training to journalists, media professionals, and IEC personnel. As part of our collaborative eforts with local NGOs, we successfully designed and implemented an educational package focused on "Women in the Media." Throughout these endeavors, I consistently demonstrated my expertise in communication and training, efectively leveraging my skills to drive impactful outcomes.
