Performing computational fluid dynamic simulations of a single drop impacting on a pre-existing liquid layer over a surface at isothermal condition and at constant heat flux in Ansys Fluent and OpenFOAM to compare the results with experimental data and then predict the characteristics of the liquid which is more efficient in cooling the heated surface.
The project is funded by NASA.
1) Achieved AIR 1871 in 7th National Cyber Olympiad conducted by Science Olympiad Foundation on 6th September, 2007. 2) Served as Representative of Aeronautical students for four years, Institute Of Aeronautical Engineering. 3) Submitted a project report entitled Modeling and Assembly of A Truck Crane Using Pro/Engineer to Central Institute of Tool Design.
