• Design and analysis of the Batching plant structures and Pipe rack structures considering the Static and Dynamic condition.
• Determining the root cause for the structural failures. Manually doing the design foundation and the connection designs using Ms. Excel. Checking the design calculations of designers and other engineers within the team. Providing technical and design support for all structural related issues.
• Design and developing a new structure which can be optimized from the existing structure to reduce the cost, easy for transportation and erection etc. Lead design reviews, risk assessments from a technical standpoint. Ensure the quality of design documentation throughout the design process.
Projects undertaken:
1) Static & Dynamic analysis of the Batching plant and pipe rack structures
Design of BP and PR structures using STAAD. Determining the Eigen frequency of the structure, while in dynamic condition. Creating the design report for approval. Preparing a suitable foundation for the support loading conditions. Co-ordinate with the drafting person to prepare the drawings.
• Assisting the design of wind turbine foundation and tower. The concept of design is differ from the structural analysis, Using Rfem the modeling and analysis are done. The foundation is divided into a number of elements (i.e. FEM) and the design carried out by the inputs.
• Designed a milestone project precast foundation. Since the foundation casting is the major time taken in the WEC erection. To avoid the man made errors occurred in the cast-insitu foundation. The foundation was separated by 8 elements each is connected using the tendons.
• Prepared the detailed design document for TUV nord Germany certification.
• Attended the meetings with the clients to answer their queries if it is related with the foundation casting, strength, defects, cracks etc.
• Prepared a detail structural analysis for the building elements, staircases using the Staad software. And sort out the required design output from the software for making a clear presentation to the clients. Versed with the following codes (Aisc ASD, LRFD, 360, 318) (BS 5950, 8110) (IS 800, 875, 451) (EN EC3)
• Design of blast buildings for Indian oil corporation around 7000sq.ft, It has the concrete structure covered full of concrete panels. It has an idea to build in Orissa, come under zone- 2 in earthquake. So the design including the response spectra analysis.
• Another part of my Prothious career is Connection design for steel members, “W” sections, HSS, “C” channels etc. Prepared the design calculations for the connections like Beam to column, beam to beam, moment connections, bracing connections (vertical and horizontal), shear connections, base plate etc at AISC ASD 9thEd & ASD 13th Ed, LRFD, NBR800, BS 5950, EURO code, IS 800. Did the connection details for commercial structures, industrial structures, stadium, pipe racks, trusses etc. I engaged and experienced more than 20 projects.

• I got an opportunity to learn the basic things of the construction marking, surveying, leveling, trench excavating, concreting etc and also co-ordinate with the Assistant engineers for construct buildings.
• List of projects Involved, Toll gate truss works, Toll admin buildings, toilets, parking yard, fencing, water drainage systems etc
• Handled individually in the construction of trauma centre at Tholudhur toll gate project sub contract for TTPL & AFCONS
• Constructed the 250m drainage at the both sides of the highway for the national highway authority of India at Tholudhur. And I received an award for construction of drainage
• Marking and initial execution for the construction of GG hospital at Nungambakkam, Chennai. Doing subcontract for the L & T ECC division, the project value is 26cr.
• Assisting the team for the construction of Training institute inside L & T campus Enathur.
