o Implementation of ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/ IEC 17025 accreditation for Quality Control Laboratory (QCL).
o Participate in the testing of ASTM World Wide Inter Laboratory Cross Check Program samples in 2011.
o Calibration and maintenance of equipments use in Quality Control laboratory.

o Crude Oil Evaluation and detail testing of all types including new discovered crudes and also responsible for quarterly TBP analysis.
\o Responsible for environmental analysis of refinery which includes plant discharge to atmosphere, waste water effluent
o Analysis of non-routine sludge and scale sampled collected during plant shut downs or collected from any storage tank.
o Suggest improving ideas in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in collaboration with IT department.
o Treatment of Boiler Blow down Water to comply with NEQS for pH, Total Suspended and dissolved solids, COD and BOD - As Team Player.
o Responsible for analysis of all additives such as Octane Booster etc.
o Responsible for interaction within organization with different departments for QCL jobs and others matters such as Equipment maintenance.
o Responsible for interaction outside the organization such Crude Oil supplier, Oil Marketing Companies, Equipments supplier and commercial customers.
o Various refinery products which are being tested at QCL are:
o LPG, PMG, JA-1, JP-8, Export Naphtha, Solvent Oil, MTT, Kerosene Oil, HSD, LDO, JBO, FFO, Bitumen, Cutback Asphalt, Modified Asphalt.
o Equipments use in Quality Control Laboratory are CFR Engine, Existent Gum Apparatus, Freezing Point Apparatus, Automatic Viscometer, Gas Chromatograph, FTIR, HPLC, Flame Photmeter, VU-Visible spectrophotometer, Jet Fuel Thermal Oxidation Stability Tester, Flue gas analyzer, Automatic CFPP, Automatic Distillation and Flash Point Apparatus, Penetrometer, Crude Oil Salt analyzer etc.
