A busy project office supporting delivery teams on the implementation of the enterprise Clinical Information System (CIS). Responsible for managing resources, time and communications. Managing core projects, overall rollout, dress rehearsals, project cutover activities, go-lives and post go-live lessons learned.
•Built the CIS team starting with 7 members reaching to 46
•Lead three major elements of the CIS project
•Cerner Millennium solution
•Technical including electronic and non-electronic data migration, integration and testing
•Planned initial roadmap, rollout & site readiness for 21 health centers including medical, POC devices, end user equipment, infrastructure, staff awareness and adoption and patient awareness
•Organized the project teams and helped establish decision making bodies
•Developed workplans and schedules in alignment with enterprise plans
•Conducted pre-go live dress rehearsals to ensure readiness
•Collected and compiled lessons learned for every implementation and shared with stakeholders
•Monitored and communicated project progress to line manager and project executives committee
•Responsible for documenting and reporting project progress, issues and risks to line manager and executives committee
•Monitor and adjust staff workload and productivity
•Completed a rollout of clinical information system and third party systems at a total of 27 primary health care centers
Nature and Scope of Position:
A newly established department that needed operations & procedures definition, workflows, business processes that is efficient. Identified the areas of development, areas of improvement, recommended solutions as per the organizations needs. All done through a collective data analysis.

•Developed policies and procedures and workflows such as web publishing, system development life cycle, user/service request, outsourcing, etc.

•Prepared a study for the nationwide patient Electronic Health Record (EHR). Stakeholders are the supreme council of health, Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary health Care Corporation, Aspetar, Sidra, Private health care sector and ict-Qatar

Defining project scope, analysis, data gathering, design, coding, testing, implementation and system support across 5 HMC hospitals: Hamad General Hospital, Women’s Hospital, Rumaila Hospital, Al-Khor Hospital, Al-Amal Hospital
•In charge of development, maintenance and enhancement of:
•Patient registration Master Patient Index (MPI)
•Outpatient appointment system
•Medical record file tracking
•Emergency department system
•Health card system
•Data migration
•Participated in preparation, reviews and finalization of operations and procedures documents for Patient Registration (MPI), Outpatient dept (OPD), Medical Records (MR) and A&E depts.
