• Verify and analyze credit information and documentation provided by sales and Branch’s after checking the quality of credit application.
• Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
• Decisions for credit applications using a range of criteria including credit viability, payment history and customer worthiness.
• Using credit scoring system for small credit amounts (such as unsecured personal loans)
• Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, recommending case for senior underwriter across all loans and credit cards after applying company and central bank guidelines for higher Exposure.
• Identify fraudulent / forged documents or incorrect information and reports to all concerned people for further investigation.
• Processing and Recommending bank products like Auto loans, Credit Cards, Personal Loans for Salaried, Self Employed, Premiere and Corporate cards as per laid down bank procedures and policies.
• Handling High profile and Priority Banking cases.
• Assessing, analyzing and interpreting financial information
• Escalate suspicious activities identified during applications evaluation on document formats or information gathered on CV
• Reporting and back listing/ watch listing of defaulters and fraudsters to avoid re-entry through other channels.
Evaluate customer profiles and perform exposure checks to find any liabilities such as auto loan, mortgage, personal loans or credit cards
• Updating of the bank systems with the necessary customer details.
• Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, recommending case for underwriters after applying company and central bank guidelines.
Liaise with various sourcing channels -Branches, Sales and other units for queries, additional information/ documents, business recommendations for deviations, if needed
• Assisting in end to end process of credit department.
• Acting as a point of contact for all email/telephone queries from Personal Banking Advisors to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Follow the escalations as approved and directed by the Deviation Matrix
Prepare monthly company accounts and reports
Expertise in posting of Daily sales (including cash, cards, credit sale etc.) in their respective ledgers.
Handling Current dated and Post dated Cheques
Preparation of PDC Reconciliation Report
Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable Customers
Preparation of daily and monthly AR collections statement
Processes ledger and booking entries according to stated procedures
Monitor and record company expenses
Prepare documents and schedules required by external auditor
Prepare and complete monthly Bank Reconciliation statement of each month and submit for review
Communicate and follow up banking transactions
Ensure the preservation of a range of the company's revenues during the follow-up audit
Tasks and responsibilities
Prepare monthly statements of income flows, and reports thereon to the head of the department to take appropriate action on them
