Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain relevant HSE documentation.
• Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.
• Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management /Contractors/ Clint’s.
• Prepare in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
• Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
• Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training
• Write and review of risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
• Site visit all over the emirates on a regular basis to find out the unsafe act and conditions, NMI, and establish HSE presence and provide support.
• Conduct daily and monthly HSE Meetings/Trainings and schedule as needed
• Write, implement, and manage HSE Programs, Policies and Procedures
• Perform facility HSE Inspections
• Ability to evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE .
• Check on hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance i.e. labeling, containment, proper disposal, documentation, etc
• Assist in emergency response and provide first aid treatment.
• Inspect all PPE, fall protection and other safety equipment and maintain inspection records.
• Up to 20% travel all over emirates for meetings, training, inspections, etc.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by HSE manager.
As a site senior HSE Advisor it’s my responsibility to monitoring and motivating my team members working under me. Providing induction training to the new employees as well as the sub contractors in the matter related to the work place health and safety measures. Lead and coordinated investigation of accidents and near misses. Carried out studies and statistical analysis to identify hazards, assessed risks and prepared inspection reports on findings. Monitoring the employees throughout the site to confirm that they are conducting the works in a Safe manner. Monitoring the labour camp and kitchen, coordinating with the camp boss and the management for employees welfare Monitoring safe system of work in stevin rock groups like RAKNOR, RAKROCK, and RAK LAB. Preparing weekly and monthly HSE reports, updating KPI, statistics and presentations related to HSE performance. Monitor compliance of all workplace activities with company HSE Management System. Maintaining documents relates to ISO. Stopping the works immediately after finding out the works conducting in a dangerous and un safe manner. The works will be restarted after correction through the training of the people who conducted unsafe works. Providing Safety Guide lines to the upcoming Project works and supervising to confirm that the works are being done according to the above guide lines or in a safe manner. Issuing the PPEs to all the employees and maintaining the PPE register, Accidents Register and Sick leave Register. Checking and monitoring the Gate Passes. Monitoring the Trucks / Machineries and correcting the mistakes of the drivers / operators through training. Conducting Site Safety Meetings, Tool Box Talk and Fire Drills. Monitoring driver’s and operator’s competency training for entire Stevin and Rak Rock sites. Inspection of all fire safety equipments in site. Updating tracker for entire Stevin and Rak Rock sites. Updating monthly HSE data’s to the top management and supporting the auditor for internal audits.
