• Measures, check, reviews and verify consultant’s and contractor’s payments. Prepares and keep records of consultant’s payments and controls project values within contract limits. Answer Consultant’s claims and prepares change orders. Keep records of approved change orders.
• Review the contract documents (conditions, specification, drawings and bill of quantities) regarding specific issue and report it directly to the Mega Projects Director.
• Checks and reviews monthly report submitted by the Consultant and the Contractor before submitting it to the evaluation committee.
• Prepares technical correspondences relating to all Mega Projects concerns and keeps record to all the documents.
• Processing Purchase Requisition to the Oracle System
• Direct reporting to the technical manager and project manager.
• Responsible of the material take-off required for the on-going projects particularly civil, structural and architectural.
• Check and evaluate the schedule of values prepared by sub-contractor and perform immediate inspection whether it meets the actual work done in site.
• Reconcile with the management engineers regarding the variations and claims.
• Prepare general schedule of values and the interim payments to be submitted to client.
• Assisting the Project Manager in finalizing the BOQ of bid packages and ensure the accuracy of the submitted quantities.
• Being thorough familiar with the requirements of the general contracts.
• Inspect subcontractor works and its compliance to the contract.
• Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work.
• Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are adhered to.
• Writing detailed reports.
• Preparation of inspection documents.
• Prepare inspection reports for joint survey with the consultant.
• Inspection prior to concrete pouring.
• Bridge structures and facilities lay-out.
• As-built surveys of accomplished structures.
• Determine the precise location of important features in the survey area.
• Performing record research, construction stakeout, and boundary, topographic, utility survey.
• Utilizing GPS, total stations and data collectors.
• Downloads field survey data from GPS & Total Station to computer database and process it into Cad maps for references such as topographic.
• Record the results of surveys and verify accuracy of data.
• Compile records for as-built and future references.
• Prepare plots, maps, and survey reports.
• Updates weekly accomplishment reports.
• Planning and managing the undertaken project.
• Quantity take-off and cost estimation for civil works and structural works for bidding purposes.
• Following up the schedules of the project on the daily basis to keep it on track.
• Coordinating with the project managers and other engineers for following up and getting the support required.
• Reconcile with general contractors and management for billing purposes.
• Quantity Take-Off for plumbing / Sanitary and Fire Protection.
• Prepare Bid Documents and Bill of Quantities.
• Quantity Take-Off for Civil and Concreting Works.
• Coordination and Meeting with the Prospect Client.
• Roaming in different project locations for quality checking and supervision.
• Make arrangements with the supplier.
