As Credit Administrator, I was responsible for opening/ amending Credit files and input/ amend/ cancel credit limits in the core banking application in addition to monitoring tasks, reporting and statistics. While reporting to the Risk manager, I was coordinating and reporting to the CEO and the head of corporate banking delinquencies and excesses on a daily basis; and implementing all the decisions taken by the credit committee.
Duties and Responsibilities
Open and update credit files into the core banking system
Produce loans documentation in conjunction with the risk manager and the legal counselor
Implement decisions taken by the credit committee and keep track of all the committee’s decisions
Advise and request the clients and guarantors to submit the required documents
Perform accounting entries on the banking core system for collaterals and guarantees
Monitor collaterals and guarantees values and report the devaluation
Manage and settle LPO’s
Monitor unpaid amounts, expired facilities/ contracts and overdrawn accounts
Perform statistics to monitor the bank credit portfolio in terms of limit, exposures, collaterals, economic sectors, currencies and country of risk and report any significant deviations identified
Prepare default statistics sowing defaulted customers with details on the default date, reason, collateral value, exposures, provisions taken by the bank, recovered amount and losses
As Customer Service Supervisor, I was responsible for ensuring that the Bank’s customers (Individual & Corporate) are receiving adequate level of services, while coordinating at all times with Head of Business Banking U.A.E, Operation team and the Compliance department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Retail Products/Small Loans : Submit & book retail credit files (small commercial loans, Housing loans, Car loans, Personal loans) by performing the following activities:
1. Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
2. Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings data and credit history
3. Complete loan applications, including credit analysis, summaries of loan requests, recommendation to obtain the credit committee approval.
5. Execute the approved loans
- Letter of Guarantee (LG) : Preparing, processing and maintaining all types of L/G ‘s applications along with related transactions
- Accounts Openings : Opening, processing and maintaining corporate/individual accounts
- Assisting/Advising Clients : Interviewing customers (individual & corporate)and recommending/advising the available services matching their needs.
- Solution Provider : Resolving customers’ complaints regarding bank services and procedures
- Providing recommendation to management concerning procedures improvement
- Overseeing the overall activities performed by the Customer Service Representative
As Personal Banking Representative, I was performing intermediate duties and support related to branch operational activities and financial services, contributing to the achievement of the Main Bank strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Promoting/selling :
1. Promote and sell the bank retail products to existing and potential clients in order to fulfill the branch retail target with the support of the branch manager.
2. Promote the bank’s financial products; Preferred shares, investment funds, banc-assurance and saving plans.
- Retail Products/Small loans :Processing loans applications (Housing, Personal, Car, Consumer, Travel) and account facilities by performing the following activities:
1. Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money
2. Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earnings, savings data and credit history
3. Complete loan applications, including credit analysis, summaries of loan requests, recommendation and submit to loan committees for approval
4. Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions
5. Execute the approved loans
- Assisting /Advising customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services
- Handling the customer complaints associated with different services and products related issues
- Opening, maintaining and processing all new account transactions (Individual/ Corporate)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing various customer service activities, including selling and opening new checking and savings accounts, establishing direct deposit accounts .
- Promoting various credit products and services offered by the Bank (salary domiciliation, bills domiciliation, Debit Cards…) as well as market investment funds & saving plans
-Handle client problems, answer general inquiries and complaints
-Performing Teller work as needed
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accepting retail and/or commercial deposits, verifying cash and endorsements and giving customers their receipts
- Identifying customers and cashing checks, or referring customers to an officer for authorization to cash checks
- Accepting savings deposits and withdrawals, verifying signatures
- Providing additional customer services including Cashiers Checks, Personal Money Orders, Stop Payments, and Certificates of Deposits
- Balances cash daily
- Accepting payments for all loans
