Inspection and Project Management (Mechanical Works)

Role: Working as Project Incharge/ Coordinator for Samcon Industrial Solutions.

Reporting to the Managing Director, sole responsibilities includes:-

v  Installation of PWAS. US Manufactured, RADAR based PWAS (Proximity Warning and Alerting System) a family of collision warning systems that improve your operator's engagement and situational awareness in real time to its fleet of Equipments.

v  Product Marketing and negotiation leading to finalisation.

v  Project Scheduling/ Budget Monitoring.

v  QAP Approval.

v  Co-ordination with Client/ Consultant/ Vendor & Statutory Bodies.

v  Supervision of Fabrication, Erection, Installation, Alignment, Testing & Commissioning with respective Engineers.

v  Approval to Drawings & Data Sheets and Protocols (Safety/Erection/Installation/Alignment) before and after commencement of work for smooth completion of site activities.

v  Inspection of all kind of Refractory bricks, castables, mortars, special designed bricks, carbon bricks & blocks, fire clay bricks, silica bricks, alumina bricks, insulation bricks etc as per drawing and standards. Supervision while mixing of ceramic materials for installation of bricks as per specifications.

v  Verify/ Review of Certificates (Material Test Certificate/ Dimension Report) for Refractory Bricks, Castables and Mortars.

v  Conducting Inspection for all Structures (fabrication & machining items), Equipments (Static & Dynamic), Pipes and other materials as per Project requirement.

v  Conducting meetings based on Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly Progress Report.

v  Routine Monitoring & Supervision of Execution work with respective Engineers.

v  Meeting Executing Authority to discuss work programs.

v  Planning/ Scheduling execution work with Contractor/Consultant/Client.

v  Monitoring safety, security with safety and security personnel for proper operation at site.

Guiding respective team of Engineers and staffs on technical issues.

Responsible for the following Projects at different locations. Handling the Projects & Inspection:-
1) 2 x 15 MT Capacity Holding Cum Melting Furnace (Ordnance Factory- Ambajhari).
2) 35 MT Capacity Bogie Hearth Furnace (Metal & Steel Factory- Ishapore).
3) 50 MT Capacity Batch Type Chamber Furnace (Metal & Steel Factory- Ishapore.
Reporting to the Managing Director, sole responsibilities includes:-
 Project Scheduling/ Budget Monitoring.
 Enquiries for Procurement, Vendor finalization/ Price Negotiation & Issuance of P.O.
 QAP Preparation/ Approval.
 Co-ordination with Client/ Consultant/ Vendor & Statutory Bodies.
 Logistic of materials with transport/ Despatch of materials.
 Fabrication, Erection, Installation, Alignment, Testing & Commissioning.
