>Responsible for rendering professional nursing care to patients within assigned units of the hospital. Such nursing care is an integral part of total patient care plan, as directed by the members of the medical staff, pursuant to objective and in keeping with generally accepted principles for the practice of professional nursing.
>Supervision of subordinates
>Performs a variety of supportive and technical nursing skills and utilizes a range of equipment when carrying out a specific medical and nursing orders for administration of medications and performance of specific treatments, monitoring techniques, and other diagnostic, therapeutic, and supportive measures.
>Initiates and performs a range of nursing measures base on patients needs related to physical and mental comforts, positioning and mobilization, nutrition and hydration, bladder and bowel elimination, care of the skin wounds and support of respiration, hygiene, communication, and any other physical and mental bodily function.
>Provides a safe, therapeutic, personalized physical and psychological environment for patient care
>Responsible for rendering professional nursing care to patients within assigned units of the hospital.
>Supervision of subordinates
>Observes, takes, records, and reports symptoms and conditions as well as noted reactions.
>Assists in administering highly specialized therapy with complicated equipment and maintain records reflecting patient conditions and treatment.
>Communicates and acts as liaison between patients, physicians, and other hospital personnel.
> Assists physician when examining patient
>Carries out physician's orders in conformity with hospital policy and legal limitations.
