Currently working as Shift Supervisor, looking after commissioning activities of Oil Movement section in the upcoming new refinery in Al Ruwais.
Looking after Tank farms and other Off-site facilities like Flare Systems, Waste Water Treatment Plants, Sewer Systems and Cryogenic Propylene Systems. Responsible for safe commissioning of Cryogenic Propylene Tanks and Propylene Gas to Liquid Plant along with other off-site facilities.
Actively involved in review of P&IDs, PFDs, Plant Operating & Commissioning Manuals and other important documents related to Oil Movement. Also participated in various studies like HAZOP & SIL during project stage. Directly handling FAT & SAT of various plant equipments including the Yokogawa DCS systems and looking after functional testing of DCS, FAS & other systems. Well trained to highest safety standards and well versed with the procedures related to Permit to Work and safe commissioning practices.

As a shift Engineer, responsible for operation of High Pressure Boilers including Waste heat recovery Boilers (CO and HRSGs), D M Plants and other Utilities viz. Water treatment Plants, Condensate Recovery Plants, Drinking Water Plants, Utility Air compressors and Steam Turbines.

Ensuring un-interrupted supply of Steam, Fuel Oil & other Utilities irrespective of any emergencies / utility system failures; Coordinating production Start-ups, Shutdowns, and Changeovers.

Safely releasing all equipment and connected lines for De-commissioning & commissioning during T&Is; maintaining inventories of Chemicals, Additives, Lube Oil, etc. for effective cost control.

Involved in unit level production planning, resource allocation, co-ordination with other departments to achieve planned targets. Well experienced in trouble shooting and emergency handling by initiating appropriate corrective actions, giving necessary instructions to field Supervisors, field operators and maintenance personnel.

Also handled Crude Receipts, Product Shipments, Pipeline Transfers, internal transfers and blends along with their quantification and relevant Documentation. Looking after Operational and Maintenance aspects of Tanks, Pumps and Pipeline network spanning several kilometers.

Operation of LPG and Propylene Spheres and Bullets, product transfer and distribution, Panel Board Operation of LPG Storage and Transfer facilities.

Handled periodic maintenance activities like Commissioning and Decommissioning of Hydrocarbon Tanks; LPG and Propylene Spheres for Hydro testing and Re-calibration by Surveyors, Excise and other statutory authorities.
