- Performs duties and responsibilities as Regional Engineer for RBJMP-1.
- Provide Technical Assistance/Guidance for the Bureau.
- Responsible of keeping records for all construction projects ongoing & completed.
- Act as Head Technical Working Group for Regional Bids Award Committee for Infra Projects.
- Act as BAC Secretariat for Small Value Procurements for Construction Materials.
- Serves as head consultant of Regional Bid Award Committee Secretariat & Member for BAC activities from planning, pre -procurement, posting up thru news paper & Phil-geps web site, Eligibility screening, pre-bid conference, opening of bid-docs, pre-qualifying, post qualifying & Awarding.
- Prepares Project Plans, Specifications and Agency Estimate for all Infra Projects.
- Provide schedule (PERT CPM)/duration for all Agency Infra Projects.
- Evaluate Contractor’s bidding documents.
- Recommends winning contractor for the Agency.
- Check and Evaluate Project Contracts between the RBJMP and the contractor .
- Set up a Quality Construction Standard for the Infra Projects Execution including (Materials & safety).
- Prepare all requirements for Building/Fence Permit & other permits encountered during the execution of Infra Projects.
- Monitor and supervise all on-going and completed RBJMP-I projects.
- Prepare Change Order/Extra Work Order for the contractor.
- Focal Person for the Bureau of all related construction project.
- Coordinates with NGO’s, LGU’s and International Committee of Red Cross regarding projects funded by said agencies.
- Evaluates and certifies Contractor’s work accomplishment.
- Prepares proposal for monthly jail / office facilities repair, maintenance& rehabilitation.
- Technical Respondents to Commission on Audit TAS all Infra Projects Implemented by the Agency.

Performs the duties of a field engineer and other tasks assigned by the Project Manager.
- Review and plan the project with the Construction Manager to ensure technical aspects of job are clear and to become familiar with contractual arrangements made with client.
- Liaise with Construction Manager to ensure job is on schedule on Site.
- Liaise with Client on all technical aspects of the project.
- Provides a focal point for all technical based queries for associated sub suppliers.
- Provides engineering advice for sub suppliers.
- Overviews the entire project (within disciplines) from an engineering view point while maintaining an open approach to all problems.
- Attends meeting with client on all disciplines of the work .
- Prepares with the Quality Engineer all Inspection and Test Plans and associated Project Specific Procedures.
- Ensures that the quality requirements of the client are adhered to and that company procedures are followed.
- Ensures that the survey of installations throughout the project are conducted in a professional manner with all results being reviewed and accepted by the client. All actions resulting from these surveys are coordinated by the Project Manger until completion.
- Provides written reports on engineering activities as required by the Construction Manager.
- Assessment of risks and hazards involved in tasks, and methods to manage the hazards in order to prevent incidents, injury and damage.
