Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing marketing plans that increase sales volumes and profitability in region, and driving Riverbed business development and marketing objectives to increase the number net new customers
Marketing program execution: Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales
Regional Partner Marketing: Develop and maintain relations across partner organizations up to senior level to increase loyalty, understanding and buy-in of Riverbed solutions and the collaborative marketing plan. (Includes in-field partner development and Market Development Funds planning, as well as the market development and channel enablement work required when on boarding key partners that increase penetration into identified market segments).
Field and Channel Readiness for New Product Introductions: Build marketing plans with regional sales team and target partners to reduce time to revenue on new product introductions within a fixed timescale and budget. Take charge of new products and help customers, press, and analysts understand why the solution is valuable to the market. Including managing the local PR agency in coordination with the EMEA PR manager
Install Base Development: Scheduling, execution, and management of regional events, customer forums, user groups, loyalty programs, and other activities that optimize presence within the customer base. Includes the delivery of communications and multi-touch programs to nurture and develop existing customers
Marketing Performance Management: Responsible for Marketing budget planning, execution, and ROI management (forecast, measure, report on impact of programs) and relationship and cost management into nominated agencies. (Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including events venues and services, digital marketing agencies, PR agency, copywriter and list brokers)
Collaborate with Riverbed sales, Global and EMEA marketing, and alliances teams to understand Riverbed’s growth strategies and create outbound marketing plans and supporting programs that ensure the region’s contribution to those growth areas.
