Duties
• Procure design consultant after negotiating rates that led to project savings.
• Facilitated smooth, efficient delivery of projects, preparing Design Responsibility Matrix (DRM) to define and document project roles. In addition to follow up sheets on weekly basis.
• Collect consultant’s contractual deliverables for review and then submit to Employer for approval.
• Assess degree of completion of design works of consultant for purpose of payments release.
• Hold and manage coordination meetings with Employer and design consultant as required, prepare minutes of meeting and monthly reports to track progress.
• Study design case for claims versus initial contractual scope, if any, and provide information to contract manager for approval
• Inform project manager with any design change that might affect budget.
• Managed design team for documents review to ensure technical coordination.
