Responsible for Managing inventory levels & availability across all Categories including Consumer Electronics, FMCG, and Home - Small, Major appliances, Furniture & Leisure (Sports, Toys & Automotive)
Elaborate the rolling forecasts by analyzing the historical sales data taking into consideration the seasonal trends, & Validate orders to suppliers
Partner with internal teams to help create and drive tools and process improvement that affect purchasing and vendor management workflow
Responsible for the Reporting of the CIM (Centralized Inventory Management) department including the OOS (out of stock) % and reasons, OOS top offenders and action plan, The Purchase orders dashboard including a summary of our Open POs and next week Availability Forecast, Order fulfillment and Suppliers fill rates
Drive process improvement and operational excellence to decrease the internal order lead-time
Collaborate with the Vendor excellence department to drive process improvement and operational excellence within our vendor community by decreasing the external order lead-time, increasing fill rates, reducing costs & defects while increasing automation, and economies of scale
For Leisure Category (Sports, Automotive, & Toys)
Manage inventory availability and inventory health including: improved in-stock rates, inventory planning and systematic forecasting, for new high-growing categories
Align with the stakeholders any upcoming events or promotions: Sales, Marketing & merchandising team, to secure enough stocks
Monitor the Non-performing stocks (Low run rates, High days of cover, High value stocks), and follow up with the VMs the action plan (Margin decrease/Liquidation) and align with the MVM if any return should be made
Responsible for the end to end communication with suppliers including: A correctly issued Purchase order (Costs, Codes, payment term), the order confirmation, the delivery date coordination with the FC (fulfillment center), the fill rates, and returns if any
Responsible for the S&OP of my respective categories, including making sure that any upcoming category events that may affect the Inbound & Outbound levels are aligned and coordinating the expected Inbound with the Fulfillment center (Warehouse)
For locally manufactured cosmetics brands (Glysolid, Kamil, Shave Code, 2GO), Imported Brands (Nivea, Glory), Electronics (Philips, Black & Decker), Detergents (Crown, Leo, Hui), and other brands (3M, SCA):
Assess and propose innovative and cost effective processes, policies and systems based on supply chain business data and metrics, and insures best practices and policies

Launched the VMI project (Vendor managed inventory): Designed a template to monitor the top customers’ stocks (mainly the Pharmacies sub distributors), gave recommendation for sales in and sales out based on the agreements, sales in history, customer’s sales out forecast, available stocks and the promotions plan. The project improved the forecast accuracy, increased the sales volumes and reduced the returns.
Analyzed the sales trends per channel and region, and worked with the Channels managers to develop scenarios to change sales trends during the month
Support the sales team with the power of fact and figures: Designed a bunch of templates to report on daily basis the sales analysis for each channel and representative, the sales Vs. the forecast and the available stocks per SKU, the slow moving items, and the near expiry SKUs sales.
Inventory planning and Inventory management : Reported and followed up on the order fill rate, inventory turnover, slow moving items, near expiry and expired quantities.
Gave training and presentations to all sales team including awareness with the tactical goals, the challenges, how to use the new reports, the VMI project, and the importance of achieving the target volume with the right product family mix while achieving the target value and monitoring the service levels.
Communicate to the trade marketing the baseline demand and the sales forecast for each SKU included in the promotion plan, assist in the promotion sales allocation, and coordinate with the supply planner the promotion production, and insure the full plan execution in time.
