I carry work experience of more than 25 years which comprises of working both in manufacturing and service sectors. The initial 11 years of my working career were spent in various well-known DIESEL ENGINE manufacturing establishments like Wartsila Diesel India, Menon & Menon Engine Division, Bajaj Tempo (now FORCE Motors) Ruston & Hornsby India (now Greaves) in various functions viz. Machine Shop, Assembly, Testing, Rectification, Servicing, Purchase and Incoming Inspection.
I have played roles of Lead Auditor and Lead Tutor for various Internationally Accredited /Approved courses on Management System & Standards viz. ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), besides I have conducted trainings on OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety) and ISO 27001 (Information Security) as a Trainee Tutor. I am certified Assessor for the EFQM Model and a Master Black Belt (MBB) Six Sigma from ISI (Indian Statistical Institute)- Mumbai.

Recently I have begun to focus on Energy Management System ISO 50001 and also completed Lead Auditor Training on EnMS, and RISK Management based on ISO 31000:2009. I hold the LAC certificates for QMS, EMS, OHSAS & EnMS for the current editions.

I have a practical experience in QMS, EMS & ISMS while in OHSAS I have Consulting and Training experience. The key highlight in my career has been to establish function/business which runs effectively and efficiently and manage a good team with a outstanding Gallup score of more than 4.2.

For the last 18 years I have been driving Quality by playing a role of a Counsellor, Auditor and Trainer, currently I am working as a Lead Consultant. During my assignment with Bharti Airtel (Leading Telecom player in India) I was located at their Corporate office (Gurgaon) as a National Head for Operational Excellence-Shared Services. I have worked extensively in the areas of Change Management, Transitioning of processes, Continual Improvement by deploying Six Sigma, Lean, and Business Process Re-engineering (BPR), Knowledge Management (KM), Audits, Training and Business Process Management Systems. In the earlier role, I spent around 4.5 years at Telemedia West Hub-Mumbai as Head BE in the Landline and Broadband business before moving to the Corporate office Gurgaon.

Prior to joining Bharti Airtel, I have worked in Organizations like (a) BSI (British Standards Institution) and I had the privilege of establishing the BSI Office in Mumbai in India, (b) CII- TQM Division & (c) P.E. BATALAS (UK's largest Quality Consultancy firm then)- mainly focusing in areas of Consultancy, Auditing & Training various Management Systems. During this period I had recommended and certified more than 250 organisations with more than 600 mandays of audits and trained close to 5000 participants on various topics both domestic and abroad.
