Data-Infrastructure Dept. considered the IP Service Provider for Mantrac International Group, holding more than 20 companies all over the world.
We are acting as data communications and Infrastructure arm of the entire Group. Serving the TCP/IP requirement, our Dept. is responsible for:
• Migrating all Stand-alone WIFI APs 1200, 1600 to join Cisco controller 9800 in more than 30 Branch
• Migrating all Cisco legacy switches with 9500, 9300, 9200 switches and 4431 routers with all security standard configuration for 30 Branch
• Also applied Mobility express WIFI solution using 1800, 9115, 9130 APs in more than 20 sites
• Applying full routing backbone for all Mantrac group using BGP with full redundancy with DC and DR
• IPS/IDS using Fortigate cloud service and analyze the logs using Fortianalyzer
• SD-wan Implementation as we faced huge challenge because of the fast grow of SAAS services and other cloud applications, therefore we implemented SD-Wan all over the group in 2 Phases
-Phase 1: Using SD-wan For internet services such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Salesforce, ..Etc.
-Phase 2: Using SD-Wan to link all branches together by joining the orchestrator and internetworking between Edges and HUBs
• Implement DDOS mitigation solution using FortiDDOS appliance to signal an attack to Baffinbay cloud provider to advertise our subnet and mitigate the attcak.
• Implement WAN-Optimization solution from Riverbed to cut down the bandwidth consumed by the cloud services.
• Implementing Wired Dot1x and wireless secured SSID using Radius server integrated with AD
• Implementation of passwords and SSH credentials protection using tacacas+ integrated with AD and Microsoft MFA
• Build a complete network monitoring system using Solarwinds NPM & Netflow
• Protect end-user using forescout NAC solution, Cyber security certified.

Train team members on new network technologies and all the technical details for the
current infrastructure switches/routers/wireless/firewall.
Design, configure, deploy and troubleshoot advanced IP-based network infrastructure
technology for all remote sites around the world, CCTV projects.
TCP/IP Core and Inter-AS routing solutions (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, MP-BGP,
VPNv4, QOS, EIGRP, NHRP, HSRP DMVPN, RIP, IPV6, GRE, IPSec).
Data Center Core SW Solution (Cisco 9K, 65xx series, Cisco 72xx VXR, 39xx, 29xx, 38xx, VSS, ISR
433, virtual stacking).
Network Layer security solutions (Cisco FWSM/PIX/ASA, Fortinet, Watchgaurd).
DR and High-Availability Solutions for our Data center Egypt/UK.
Data-Link layer integrity.
(Uplinks to high end ISPs, BT, AT&T, Orange, MTN, Africa-Online, Vodacom, TEData, etc.) (PPP,
FR, EFM, ATM, AToM, PPPOE).
NOC (Solarwinds Orion, MRTG, Cascade, Fortianalyzer/Manager) to support all the remote sites
issues.
WAN Optimization Techniques (Riverbed, Cisco WAAS, SDWAN).
Technical account management for the enterprise customer.
Assist Premier Accounts with their internal network including Routing, Switching and Security
execution.
Ensure follow-up of technical communications and support activities for assigned Premier
Accounts.
Ensure good relationships, communications and follow up with sales concerning assigned
account.
Escalation level for customer's technical problems.
Develop, test and deploy new services, solutions and equipment.
Provisioning new customer's services.
Configuring static and dynamic \[RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP\] routing protocols.
Configuring customers and our core switches.
Applying QoS configuration to achieve the quality for the voice and video traffics.
Testing and configuring new devices and technologies \[EFM devices, AToM, and
advanced converters\].
Design, configure, deploy and troubleshoot advanced IP-based network infrastructure
technology solutions for clients.
Implementing IPsec/GRE solution for customers.
3G customer solution to achieve redundancy &/or Load Sharing solutions through multi-homed
ISPs.
Provisioning MPLS & internet services over VSAT connection for new customers.
Technical visits upon management request for a special technical need.
Hands on experience on Juniper OS and Juniper routers especially SRX routers and EX switches
series.
Managing Access network installation, operation and maintenance.
Technology migration from ATM to IP.
Escalation level for any technical problem within the access network, i.e DSLAM, E1/E3/STM-
1 aggregators.
Migrating enterprise customers from ATM to Ethernet technology.
Troubleshooting on fiber connections issues.
Provisioning the New DSLAMs connections to the PE.
Configuring SHDSL modems and prepares it for activation corporate customers.
Testing all new corporate SHDSL modems/Cisco Switches/E1 E3 aggregator for the
installation process.
