• Understand design and standard documents in their various formats: drawings, specifications, ITN documents, material lists (Bill Of Materials), technical manuals for control systems and specific components/sub-systems, Technical Information Letter (TIL) procedures, etc.
• Use the company tools to retrieve technical documents: EDM, IMAN and Oracle BOM system, Support Central, etc.
• Ensure the correct GE installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning practices are followed throughout the project, filling and/or requesting sub-contractors to fill the relevant check lists
• Supervise the fabrication and installation of the field electrical and instrumental arrangements particularly electrical hook up, pneumatic hook up, primary hook up and field wiring
• Execute loops check for any type of instruments
• Edit the existing control software if required to rectify non-conformities as per Engineering Dept. instructions, implement sequence changes required from Engineering Dept., customize the control system to the site conditions, modify the animated displays on the Human Machine Interface (HMI), etc. Change will be implemented upon the approval of the relevant Engineering Department.
• Energize, configure, test and calibrate auxiliary systems normally integrated in the Control Panel, such as Bentley Nevada vibration and Temp. Monitoring system (3300 and 3500 series) including non-contact probes, accelerometers, velocity probes; gas detection systems; firefighting system (with direct assistance from Vendor TA for troubleshooting of major problems); air inlet self-cleaning control system (if applicable, i.e. pulse jet system); Etc.
• Mark-up all control elementary drawings to report actual site control system software, electrical conditions and allow Engineering As-Built documentation release
•• EFA leakage detection system technical and commercial offer Preparation and control of project documentation (revisions, quality checks, transmittals …etc)
• Responsible for the detailed engineering, design, assembly and test of the system.
• Management of all contractual and commercial issues related to the project.
• Liaison with ARAMCO and main contractor project team regard to all technical issues with the provision that all correspondence
• Prepare the plan for the working hours (including the time and human resources) for present project
• Progress review and reporting.
• Company rep. to attend all meetings.
• LEAKNET (PPA, MassPack and Locator) configuration and data analysis.
• ARAMCO standard implementation and follow up.
1- Initiating procurement of supplies and ensuring availability of economical stock level, directing and participate in the completion of competent plant and equipment maintenance data for review and analysis to establish reliability, ensure availability of equipment, investigate and prevent frequent problems.
2- Raise/Review plant modification and coordinate with operations and engineering personal to ensure acceptance and timely implementation of related projects.
3- Provide advice to operation on maintenance issues related instrumentation and control systems
4- Prepare scope of work for all instruments /control maintenance contracts. Review and comment on the instrumentation and control aspects of all engineering projects undertaken in assigned field including preparation of statement of requirements, reviewing scope of work, technical specification, tender document and detailed engineering design packages.
5- Participate in commissioning startup and Hanover activities and comments on the maintainability of new plant and equipment.
6- Assess suitability of new equipment/technology and witness their trials.
7- Coordinate with the work planning personnel on timely updating of related equipment.
8- Ensure all activities are carried out in safe, timely efficient and cost effective manner to maximize plant availability to meet production/injection/export targets.
