Provides overall strategic financial guidance and plays a key role in the company ongoing financial direction guiding the company whilst balancing financial risks with opportunities.
Duties includes:-
- Presenting company financial information to the board and shareholders.
- Ensuring adequate financial controls are in place and being utilized by finance staff.
- Negotiating with banks and financial organizations to secure funding and financing for the company.
- Raising external financing through share capital and other forms of financing.
- Overseeing the treasury function of the company ensuring a good balance between risk and company liquidity.
- Playing a pivotal role in the company growth through overseeing all plans for expansion.
- Guiding the company through mergers or acquisitions ensuring adequate and effective due diligence is carried out.
Oversees the day to day activities of the finance team and ensures the company finance function is organised and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.
Duties include:
•Management of the finance function and overseeing the finance team.
•Preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
•Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes.
•Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet.
•Timely production of statutory and internal financial reports.
•Financial modelling and analysis.
•Cash management and treasury duties.
•Ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained.
•Overseeing the Payroll process.
Oversees the finance management and production of sound financial information by the finance team.
Duties include:
•production of accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, payroll, management of the ledger department, and all other accounting related activities
•Ensuring systems are in place to regularly review financial performance across the company and that budget managers are supported to undertake budget monitoring as part of the financial control framework
•Liaising with the operational managers to produce monthly management accounts, providing commentary to senior management on significant variances.
•Overseeing the debtor management process to ensure that debts are recovered on time, and to minimise bad debt
•Set up and maintain fixed-asset register and calculating depreciation.
•Intercompany invoicing
Responsible for the preparing the financial accounts for the company and ensuring the financial integrity of the statutory accounts.
Duties include:
•Preparation of subsidiaries' statutory accounts and the monitor of accounting and reporting developments for IFRS.
•Production of statutory accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, P&L.
•Ensure allocated statutory accounts are prepared and reviewed.
•Monthly profit and loss, budget control, Intercompany reconciliations.
•Maintenance of the profit and loss account.
•Preparation of group and statutory accounts audit pack.
•Assist the Assistant Financial Controller as required.
