Performance Reporting (MIS)
1- Initiate, contribute and supervise the preparation of performance and management reports, to be provided to DA senior management for decision making.
2- Analyse reports, and provide business justification to KPI’s and trends.
3- Provide recommendations for areas of improvements to various business units. This includes advise, guidance, required information..etc.
4- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of provided reports, and respond to ad-hoc reporting requirements on timely manner and in line with internal procedures.
5- Staying abreast of technical developments, relevant regulations and industry best practices, particularly on general accounting related issues within the organization.
6- Mastering financial systems processes and reporting tools, evaluate them and recommend necessary improvements.
7- Responsible for training and staff development of all the direct and indirect subordinates within the department.

Planning & Budgeting
1- In-depth understanding of the financial and regulatory challenges associated with running an operational and capital budget.
2- Contribute in annual budget preparation process, provide required information to DA business units which impact the decisions & operations of the respective unit.
3- Budget consolidation, analysis and review before presenting to Senior Management.
4- Maintain budgetary control process by pre encumbrance checking and approving all capital and non-capital expenditure of DA and ensure compliance of transactions with budget discipline standards guidelines.
