I am still working in this company as a *Responsible for Machinaries & Spare parts* but I have to care for vegetable Seafoods and spices some times.
Responsiblities and duties are as under;
• Supervise identification of national and international vendors.
• Manage analysis of project contract documents and drawings for material and sub-contract requirements and budget
• Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and interview them to gather information about products to be ordered.
• Supervise personnel dealing with banks for documents
• Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries wherever necessary, Check shipments / Deliveries with specifications
• Supervise the records for port, customs, and health authorities.
• Responsible for coordinating the procurement of materials, components, supplies and services essential to the operation of the assigned product group.
• Investigate new developments in material group and purchasing and acquiring quality food products at cost effective price.
• Make the recommendations on improving the quality and cost of purchases.
• Analyze the consumption conditions to determine present and future material availability.
• Assist the Procurement Manager to establish material management and control system, especially for projects; including verification of materials and equipment received.
• Consolidate item specific forecasts to be used for ordering and inventory management purposes.
 Supervise day-to-day procurement transactions
 Ensure compliance with company policies
 Analyze and optimize process flows
 Develop and manage approved supplier list
 Monitor and improve supplier performance
 Categorize suppliers based on spend and criticality
 Perform regular audits of key suppliers
