Procurement and tendering:

 Identify suitable Procurement Strategies, develop suitable payment models and seek approval for tendering/steering committee through Internal Memo.
 Manage the tendering process from issuance of request for expression of interest letters to LOA.
 Prepare prequalification questionnaire, evaluate returns and drafting recommendation for Client.
 Liaise with all concerned departments to compile and finalize the RFP (Request for Proposal) Documents
 Managing the Tendering Process, including issue of Tender Bulletins, respond to tender queries and managing an up-to-date tracker of the process.
 Liaise with the tendering evaluation team and prepare the Tender Report with appropriate recommendations.

Contract Formation:

 Manage the formation of Contract documents of the Construction Supervision Consultant, the Novated Contractor, the Main Contractor, Specialised contractors and the Fit-Out Contractor of the Project.
 Ensure that all agreements reached, clarification issued within the tender bulletins and post-tender clarifications are clearly reflected in the final contract documents.
 Finalize the novation agreement in liaison with the Client, Novated contractor and the Main Contractor.
 Liaise with concerned stakeholders to finalize the Contract documents.

Contract Administration:

 Draft day-to-day correspondences and notices to the Contractors and Consultants;
 Review all Insurances and Bank Guarantees submitted by the Consultants and Contractors to ensure their compliance with the contract requirements and ensure their timely renewals.
 Review Contractors’ and Consultant’s Claims, including claims for extension of time, and provide recommendations to Client.
 Liaise with stakeholders to develop strategies for responding to Contractors’ and Consultant’s Claims.
 Manage the Client’s Change Request process, including preparation of Internal Memo’s for obtaining Steering Committee’s approval.
 Draft Change Requests, Variation Orders and Amendments to the Contracts.
 Provide contractual recommendations whilst negotiating with Contractor and resolve any dispute
 Review Contractor’s Interim Payment Application and prepare Consultant’s invoices.

 Reviewing and assessing Subcontractor’s claims for Extension of time, prolongation costs thereof, disruption etc. and drafting contractual responses in regard thereto;
 Developing defence strategies and preparing response to counter Subcontractor’s unjustified claims;
 Avoiding disputes by adopting a collaborative approach for claim negotiation and amicable settlement;

(2) Evaluating financial, compliance or performance issues associated with assigned subcontracts and recommend appropriate actions to resolve.

I. Claims and Variations worth more than 370 Million QAR being accepted and awarded by Client;
II. Successfully formulated and implemented the Change Control Management Plan.
