Working as a Technical Manager, talking direction from the General Manager
and works closely with Business Managers, Senior Scientists and the QC
department. My role is largely to coordinate and guide the technical development
of the Environmental Division.
Continues technical development of the environmental division with
embracing new technologies, lowering detection levels, expanding the
breadth of services provided, Fine tuning current methods to ensure
efficiency is maximized.
Maintaining ALS Arabia as the market leader in terms of technology,
services offered and efficiency in areas targeted.

Accurate and timely written and oral communication with Clients
(technical query response).
Researching and reporting on analytical technologies that may be provide
a competitive advantage for ALS Arabia environmental business
operations.
Managing the development of new methodology (both organic and
inorganic) within the environmental division paying particular attention
to productivity and service initiatives.
Acting as a primary resource where technical input is required by
management, staff or clients.
Designing and implementing training programs for staff and management
to ensure all staff member have the training and skills to successfully
complete the tasks assigned to their positions with respect to Productivity
and workflow issues, Instrumental analysis and LIMS operation.
Advising on the recommended purchase of capital equipment and prepare
CEPs as required.
Assisting with the marketing of the company's services through technical
presentations and the preparation of literature as requested by
management.
Ensuring that the quality of analytical data produced is maintained at a
level that meets or exceeds company and market acceptable standards.
Assessing the results of QA/QC audits and implement improvements as
required.
Assist with the safety requirements as set out in the safety manual.
Rectify any unsafe laboratory practice.
Actively practices team work, including providing operational and
strategic leadership.
Creates and encourages teamwork and a learning environment
Working as a user administrator of LIMS (Laboratory Information &
Management System) and ANGEL (A New Generation of Enviro LIMS).
Maintenance, update the existing method and encoding new methods
LIMS / ANGEL.
Modifying the reports (COA, QC, and QCI) in LIMS / ANGEL to generate
as per the client requirements.
