•Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
•Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
•Coordinate with the consultant's representative and Site In-charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
•Report to the QA/QC Manager, control, and monitor all activities related to Quality Management system, QMS.
•Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI.
•Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
•Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
•Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan, PQP.
•Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant.
•Preparing MIR & WIR and coordinate for the inspection for the same.
•Preparing method statement and ITP
•Preparing Risk assessment
Monitoring the work at site wherever required.
•Preparing KPI report & weekly report
•Preparing IPC documents and conduct inspection for IPC
•Control all fellow QC inspectors in the department
•Support maintenance and implementation of the Contract Management System
•Support delivery of the contract Assurance Program
•Plan and partake in internal project and supplier audits
•Conduct Vendor and Supplier Qualification Evaluations
•Support in conducting root cause analysis of project nonconformities and technical incidents
•Attend project kick off meetings to provide QA/QC input
•Provide Quality support to in-country site-based engineering team
•Determine inspection level and requirements of product/material
•Review and approve product/material requisitions and validate QC requirements
•Provide Quality input to technical bid evaluations
•Review and approve necessary vendor and supplier documents including ITPs, NDE procedures and reports, Manufacturing Record Books, etc.
•Support 3 rd party inspection coordination process and review inspection reports and release notes
•Assist in development and approval of construction and commissioning ITPs
•Review construction and commissioning work packs prior to site issue
•Review and validate QC activities to verify products/services satisfy requirements
•Conduct review of project technical queries and standard deviation requests
•Verify completeness of documentation for handover to the client
•Support implementation of quality continuous improvement initiatives
•Ensure the closure of Quality requirements for project close out
•Regular quality reporting as required and ensure the satisfactory reporting, tracking and closure of project NCRs and Preventive Actions Professional Work Experience with GALVACOAT FOR GALVANIZING & LIGHTING POLES (Abu Dhabi) 2014-2016 Experienced as a QA/QC engineer in the field of manufacturing and galvanizing of lightning poles, guard rail systems and general fabrications Able to work independently or in a team to maintain company quality policy and customer satisfaction Strong knowledge in fabrication drawings Meeting with Consultant, Client & Contractor for approval Preparing ITP Conducting FAT with clients Preparing PQP and QAP Receiving project drawing from QC manager and preparing check list for inspection Inward inspection of raw material as per approved drawing and quality standards Conducting first piece inspection of line production and approval/rejection of the same as per approved drawing
