Sourcing & Supply Chain

Ensures all goods and services meet established standards; process / checks are in place to address all complaints, requests, and questions and resolves within guidelines.
•Effectively liaise with internal stakeholders at all levels to understand requirements and develop plans / process that ensure a robust supply chain with the best supply partners at a competitive cost and continues follow-up.
•Provide guidance on end to end PO Management / Logistics solution( including freight Forwarders) for export/Import - remanufacturing and return to Vendor / Customers, including customs and Local LTL / Door to Door service / Transportation, Compliance, inventory control and cycle counts etc., Establish Strategic Logistic partners in India, who have adequate coverage overseas for effective Transportation of Goods Import Air / Ocean etc.

Key Achievements:

•Supported Indian customer( partly) on their offshore Jack up Rig, refurbished project in Bahrain, project worth US 30 million, which includes sourcing, Expediting and Delivery of Goods both by Air and Ocean from Global Locations into Bahrain / middle east.
•Worked as Business Partners in India for Chase Resource Singapore and Chemitech Singapore, in Local sale and Global sourcing( Asia, Europe and US) / procuring Oil Field equipment/Spares / MRO/ Vales/ Hoses / Chemicals / Marine Engines parts / Industrial products / Drill Pipes / Casing / Electrical Parts for off shore and Land Rig Contractors, Operators and EPC contractors in India, from Global suppliers, Manufacturing, After market repair and fabrication / engineering manufactures, currently monthly purchase worth US 125-150 K.

Key Achievements:
•Projects - Sourced and supplied equipment directly from overseas supplier to Indian customer, refurbishing Project of Offshore jack Rig Sagar Ratan by Hindustan shipyard, Vishakhapatnam / India, refurbishing project of ONGC offshore Jack up Rig Sagar Uday, by L & T in 2011, worth INR 37 Million.
•Exploited global transportation market opportunities, thereby reducing shipping costs by 4%.
•Developed a business plan and conducted a feasibility study to establish India Distribution Centre (cum Warehouse) in SEZ (Special Free Zone) in Vishakhapatnam (east coast), Purchased globally Stock containing 483 Line items valued @ over INR 75 million.
•Sourcing / Procurement project for customer - Jagson International, 2 x offshore Jack up rigs in 2010 in Malaysia, worth INR 40 million).
•SMOG reduction, by moving the same to other Global locations and saved bottom line of 25% hit on cost of the goods.
