I carried out work experience as a Hairdressing Assistant; I dealt with customer queries, made appointments and kept the salon clean and tidy. I got to learned new skills, this experience taught me how to communicate with your customer and it build up my confident as well.

3. In February 2013 for two weeks I have done work experience in retail from Pound Stretcher in Blyth. I have learned new things from them. I have done the job as the floor assistant mostly like filling the selves with all products/stocks. I also make sure that the shop is full, organise, and neat and clean. I also help customer in helping the product they would like to buy. Greeted every customer comes in the store. And etc

4. I help my parents with (our family business) Convenience Shop. I feel very lucky that I got to learn from parents about this retail field. I got learn how to communicate with your customer, all skills which needed to work in a Convenience shop.
I worked on the till as a cashier, helped individual customer when needed help, fill the shelves with product/stocks, and keep the shop clean and tidy. I have been helping my parents for 6 years.
This 6 years' experience has taught me lots of skills needed to be work in a retail field.

I am self taught makeup artist and also done two month freelance makeup/ makeover artist in salon in Newcastle. Through this job I got to learn more confident about how to communicate with customer, how to deal with them and look after their opnions and choices. All those clients were very understanding and were amazing to work with.
