. Performs daily maintenance of the machines.
. Collects blood accordingly.
. Calibrates controls and standardized reagents needed for the different types of examinations.
. Runs all the samples according to the request.
. Performs routine fecalysis and urinalysis.
. Performs careful inoculation and plating of specimens in their respective media for identification and isolation of bacteria.
• Perform microscopic method in identification of gram acid fast bacilli.
. Performs Gram staining.
• Typing and checking of laboratory reports before releasing to their respective doctors.
• Make requisition of laboratory stocks and supplies and making orders of reagents to respective suppliers.

• Performs blood typing for the screening of blood donors and recipients.
• Performs various examinations for donors such as Hgb., malarial test, HBsAg, HCV, HIV, RPR.
• Performs blood letting on qualified donors.
• Performs crossmatching major and minor and compatibility test by using Direct Coombs Test.
• Performs processing of blood component using CELLSEP refrigerated centrifuge
and OPTIPRESS II.
