• Assessing contractors Variation Order.
• Valuation of contractors Payment Certificate
• Preparing bill of materials, and bill of quantities
• To undertake measurements for BoQs for projects, value engineering, cost exercises as directed by the Commercial Manager.
• Thoroughly and accurately measure change quantities and agree with the contractor’s QS in a timely manner.
• Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials on specified plan.
• To visit each work site frequently in conjunction with regular review of all drawings, specifications to ensure complete familiarity with ongoing operations on site.
• Preparation of site measurements to assess percentages for monthly interim payments and agreement with the contractors Quantity Surveyor.
• Provide guidance to the Site Engineers for daily and weekly progress measurements and assistance in the conversion of site measurements to relevant quantities and provide to the planner.
• To ensure adequate records of resources are recorded for all work to be valued using time unit rates.
• To regularly visit site to quantify change.
• To maintain the Master Copy of drawings and highlight all changes.
• Thoroughly and accurately measure change quantities and agree with the contractor’s QS in a timely manner.
• To identify possible conflict disputes and notify the Commercial Manager for action and advice.
• To undertake measurements for BoQs for projects, value engineering, cost exercises as directed by the Commercial Manager.
Estimates, Reviewing Plans, Site Supervision and Quantity Surveyor.
• Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials on specified plan.
• Prepared payment certificates/invoice.
• Carry out materials quantity take-off from the design and shop drawing of the project and prepared as bill of quantities.
• Monitor each stage of construction to make sure that costs are in line with forecasts.
• Prepare in-house estimates, derive cost, valuate variation order and analyze financial bids.
• Coordinating with site engineer on progress of works and keeping site records for the preparation of productivity and cost reporting and submitting it as weekly and monthly reports to the Project Director and Project Manager.
• Carrying out all re-measurements work necessary to ensure completion of all construction works in accordance to the working drawing and original bill of quantities for project.
• Monitoring total physical and major supplier of the project and set as daily reports to the Project Manager.
• Responsible for the subcontractor and supplier for the approval and evaluation of invoiced claims and coordinating closely with finance, accounts to assure accurate claims and cash out.
• Carry out materials quantity take-off from the design and shop drawing of the project and prepared as bill of quantities.
• Provided and updated the procurement engineer for the balance of materials to be procured in avoidance of delaying the works.
• Prepared quantity cost estimate for proposed additional and variation orders.
• Carrying out all re-measurements work necessary to ensure completion of all construction works in accordance to the working drawing and original bill of quantities for project.
• Monitoring total physical and major supplier of the project and set as daily reports to the Project Manager.
• Responsible for the subcontractor and supplier for the approval and evaluation of invoiced claims and coordinating closely with finance, accounts to assure accurate claims and cash out.
