Recruitment Activities:
- Receive Employment Requests & perform the search in accordance with the required qualifications and job descriptions.
- Source, screen, conduct phone interviews as well as face-to face interviews to deliver high quality on time candidate shortlists for all Elsewedy Electric businesses inside and outside Egypt.
- Supervise assessment tests sent to all entry level applicants.
- Fill Competency-Based evaluation form according to the position’s required proficiencies
- Use different sourcing channels (Recruitment websites, LinkedIn, European recruitment agencies and social media) to acquire fresh, mid-level and managerial talents.
- Perform reference and background check on applicants.
- Issue job offers for the shortlisted candidates.
- Headhunt for potential candidates when needed.
- Maintain an updated database for all applicants & their statuses for future references
- Update the weekly recruitment Plan including following up with new hires and requests.
- Arrange monthly On Boarding & Tour to Elsewedy Electric factories to all newly hired employees
Branding Activities:
- Communicate with universities to arrange and plan branding activities
- Plan Annual Employment Fairs agenda
- Attend & Represent Elsewedy Electric at the employment fairs
- Communicate with student activities to arrange for awareness sessions and soft skills trainings
- Strengthen the Corporate’s presence on the Social Media reaching broader audience
- Promote the corporate culture and vision to the online audience
- Measure and adjust online posts according to the metrics of (followers gained, audience interactions and talent supply)
- Arrange for 3 days Orientation Program to all newly hired candidates on monthly basis
- Prepare Internal Postings Announcements & Notify eligible workers of position availability
- Participate in sourcing, screening and shortlisting candidates for the following programs (Future Leaders Program, Management Trainee Program, etc.)
Recruitment:
▪ Achieves staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates
▪ Execute pre-screening, final phone/face to face interviews for All Levels
▪ Coordinate with departments for technical interviews
▪ Submit candidates’ offers and follows up until placing
▪ Handle on-boarding process through sending welcome letters
▪ Receive and revise hiring documents from new and existing employees
▪ Conduct exit interviews and prepares feedback and trend analysis reports
Personnel:
▪ Maintain accurate filing system for all the hiring and legal documents of UCMENA Employees
▪ Prepare employment contracts for new employees and provide needed guidance to sign all the required documents
▪ Prepare form 1 & 6 in a regular basis and follows up until delivery to social insurance office
▪ Prepare legal documents tracking sheet to follow up missing documents until receiving them
▪ Track resigned employees files and keep it in the department’s archive.
- Responsible of the completion and finalization of the Recruitment agreement with the new clients
- Ensure signing the agreements with the clients as per the recruitment standards and then receiving their recruitment requirements & send it to the recruitment team.
- Responding & handling inquiries in person, by phone and email from clients and ensuring delivering a high level of recruitment service to the clients.
- Act as a representative for the Recruitment Team on group workshops as appropriate & to liaise with the group as required.
- Maintaining efficient systems and processes, while providing support to Managers as required.
- Provide positions specific information to the Manager to assist with the Construction of adverts for newspapers and websites.
- Advertising job positions on face book, LinkedIn & websites.
- Attending meetings as required to provide updates on recruitment progress and determine needs.
- Take ownership for respective vacancies ensuring that all recruitment activities are completed in a timely manner and ensure quality of service.
- Communicate with and update Managers throughout all stages of the recruitment process.
- Keep candidates informed of the progress, next steps and provide timely feedback.
- Answer inquiries from candidates regarding employment opportunities.

Receptionist:
-Provide requested information to callers, direct them to appropriate personnel and take messages when needed
-Meet visitors, determine nature of business, direct them to specific destinations and notify concerned person of visitor’s arrival
-Send, receive, dispatch and distribute incoming mail, facsimiles or other materials to relevant parties while tracking courier services
-File and maintain records of internal/ external mail on appropriate tools as per the set standards
-Provide administrative support to Line Managers through printing company related documents and distributing them as required
-Provide administrative support to different departments when needed including typing letters, printing/scanning documents as requested by Line Managers
- Provide assistance sending receiving and following up on shipments through couriers.
- Provide assistance to all walk-ins, receiving and filtering CV's.
- Assisting applicants, new staff members and visitors.
Travel Coordinator:
-Manages, coordinates and ensures the smooth operation of travel activities of business associates and company employees.Key Responsibilities :
-Arranges airline/hotel reservations and visas for both out bound & inbound travel, per diems to be arranged. Coordinates with branch offices to ensure smooth travel procedures and arrangements.
-Negotiates agreements, rates, services and incentives with travel vendors and hotels to ensure the best corporate rates are offered to the company.
- Manages relationships and contracts with travel agencies, hotels, airlines, ground transportation. Auxiliary services such as car hire and other services to be arranged as & when needed.
- Provides tips/data for travel budgets to brand managers.
- Ensures compliance with contract terms, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, etc...
- Consistently identifies areas for cost saving opportunities and recommends/implements cost saving initiatives that execute towards this strategy.
o Communicating with authors, editors, and reviewers and responding to inquiries.
o Performing some checkups on submitted manuscripts (authors’ list and missing data).
o Managing the timeframe of the editorial workflow at all stages.
o Assuring that editorial policies are followed by all users.
o Sending reminders to authors, reviewers, and editors following the editorial workflow. o Managing the internal processs of accepted manuscripts (handling materials provided, galley proofs sent).
o Coordinating with other departments (IS, Production, and BD).
o Raise-up urgent and not ordinary cases to Publishing Editor.
