Prepares monthly and annual financial statements, budgets, product costs, inventory costs. Reports directly to the company president and VP-Finance and submits financial reports or schedules to them as needed. Coordinates with the production department for material sufficiency and requisition. Confers with internal revenue officers during tax audit. Work with external auditors during audit season. Negotiates with clients, local and foreign suppliers, banks and other other agencies. Maintains proper implementation of accounting and internal controls. Performs other accounting related functions as required.
Checks completeness of supporting documents and processes payments to suppliers, branch, employees, government agencies and petty cash replenishment. Maintains and regularly updates records of employees’ salary loans and other deductions. Prepares forms and remits monthly dues to BIR, SSS, Philhealth and HDMF (Pag-ibig). Prepares monthly management accounts and financial schedules. Carries out other accounting-related functions as needed.
Handles processing of company payables. Prepares monthly summary of general accounts of assigned company subsidiaries and schedules needed for consolidation of the company’s monthly/annual financial statements. Examines and verifies buyers’ documents (Contract to Sell and Deed of Sale) for validity and clearance. Assists external auditors during audit season. Performs accounts analysis, bank reconciliation, assets inventory, closing of books and other accounting-related functions as needed.
