Al-Fanar Co. (K.S.A) 60x3MVA power transformers. The S/S Installation
o Consists of all types of activities such as power
transformers, 13.8kv switchgear, control relay panels,
132Kv GIS switchgear. And all type of cabling
relating to above switchgear.
o Testing activity related to above is also being managed by me.
o Installation activities for other SERVICES are also
being managed by me. Such as Water sprinkler
system, fire alarm systemFM200 system air- conditioning system and building electrification.

Aug.2001-21 Dec 2002. o Worked at 115/13.8kv, National Guard S/Stn.

Jan. 01-july 01 o Installed, Tested and commissioned 100 MVA,
Site Manager. 132/33kv Power Transformers, And 33kv ABB
Alfanar Co. (K.S.A) . Switch gear indoor GIS at S/S 8801, Al-Qassim.
The job comprised of carrying out working in energized substation under LOA which includes

wiring modification in exiting MVA power
Transformers. T1 & T2 and its related 33kv- switchgear section A & B. The modification works
were being commissioned in step by step outage.
o All testing and commissioning activities also
carried out for various relays and protection

May.98-Dec.99 o Worked in above capacity with Al-Fanar Co
Al-Fanar co. (K.S.A) o Laying of 132 kv XLPE power cables to different
Project Site substation around Holy Makkah. (The suppliers of
Engineer (Construction) cable Saudi Cable Company) .The job, which also
included 6Km of cable tray route designing, And
installation in side Haram cable tunnels.
o The jobs also included carrying out power cables
tests at site. Also dealing with technical
correspondence regarding the above project.

My job was to manage as well as consultant for construction of 02 numbers 380/132KV substations having capacity 500MVA and transmission line 380KV double circuit with four bundled conductor 400km long in rough terrain from Hail to Jouf.

Construction and maintenance of high voltage substations and transmission lines from 110KV upto 500Kv.It includes awarding contracts and executing the works.Also designing installation testing and commissioning of the network substation and transmission lines.

1 Oct, 2008 to 20 Dec, 2010 o Worked as director at High Voltage & Short-Circuit
Director HV&SC Lab. Laboratory, Rawat. Supervising various TYPE tests
PEPCO. Pakistan of electrical equipment like power transformers,
power cables, CTs, PTs, metal clad panels and other
electrical equipment of various voltages. Power
frequency voltage of 500kV and impulse testing of 1800kV.

Dec 21, 2002 to 18 Dec2003. o Worked as a Site Manager at 132/33 kV Substation
Al-Fanar Co. (K.S.A) 8802 & 8803, in Al-Qassim for Installation of additional 100MVA Power
Transformer and its related modification
works
All work being carried out in Energized
System under LOA.
The work comprises Installation of power
transformer 33kv switchgear with control
relay panels, all cabling work, testing & Commissioning activities.

25 Dec, 2006 to 2008 30 Sept, o Worked as a senior engineer at 220kV/132kV/11kV grid station Mardan, NWFP. Managed the operation
NTDC-WAPDA and maintenance of 220kV/132kV 3X160 MVA
Deputy-director 220kV power transformers, overhauling of 220kV and grid-station 132kV circuit breakers.
Pakistan o Overhauling of 220kV and132kV diverter switches of tape-changers.
o Replacement of 132kV oil-breaker with new SF6
GEC ALTHOM (France) breaker.

Worked as project manager for 132kV cables project (total route 5km) . The project consisted of designing,
Al-Fanar Co. (K.S.A) procurement and lying of 132kV 1200mm2 power
cables, 12 pair X 0.9mm2 pilot cables and 36 fiber
optic cables.

(Pakistan) . maintenance of 38 No S/S .and 900-km
Executive Engineer. transmission lines.
o The job included managing look after for all
technical and administration matters.

Sep.97-May 98 o Worked as a project site engineer with Al-Fanar
Al-fanar Co. (K.S.A) Co, on construction of 115/13.8KV new substation
Project Site Engineer at Alkhafji and modification of two Nos Addl
(Construction) S/Stn.including installation of equipment such as power transformer.
o HV circuit breaker, disconnector relay & control
panel including inter connection lighting. Fire
alarm system in control building.
o The laying of under ground power cable in duct as well as direct burial in ground including cable
sealing cable termination, Control cable laying and its termination in different equipment in control
building and switch yard. It included all substation
commissioning activities.

Sep.95-Sep.97 o Two years experience as a senior engineer with
WAPDA (Pakistan) WAPDA on construction of 500 /220 kv S/Stn of
Senior 900MVA capacity. Having two Nos, transformer
construction/protection bays of 450 MVA capacity .It was a turnkey project
Engineer. with Nazir & Co as contractor with NESPAK as consultant and Siemens/ AEG construction as main
manufactures / supplier of electrical equipment for 550kv. Being also responsible for testing /
commissioning.
o The 220kv yard was the constructed by imperial
construction ABB as the main supplier of equipment the works included supervision and
erecting of equipments relay and control panels
power transformers XLPE power cable laying and its termination inside sub station control cable
laying and its wiring testing of the equipments and its final commissioning including interfacing.


o Worked for seven and half years on construction of

WAPDA (Pakistan) . with WAPDA in operation and maintenance of
Senior Maintenance 220/132/66kv-33kv s/sand transmission lines and

MEW (Kuwait) . electricity and water, Kuwait on supervision

GIS circuit breakers, GIS bus bars, power
transformers, underground power cable and testing/commissioning of equipment including
underground power cable.
