Logistics and material planning for all stores, overall responsibilities of stores day to day activities, Distribution & MIS of all department stores. Computerization of stores functions, stores management purchases of raw materials and consumables, handling & transport agencies
To ensure uninterrupted supply of Packaging material, while maintaining packaging material inventory within targets and all contract staffs are trained and fully equipped to perform their responsibilities.
• Preparation of arranging materials for Shutdown and Routine works.
• Assisting Planning Engineers in Pre Shutdown Activities such as Item list preparations, Material Procurement.
• Responsible for Global Logistics, Purchasing, Warehousing, Supply chain Management, Production Planning, Co-ordination with Purchasing Dept for new product development, Stores Monitoring & Inventory Control.
• Monitor, measure and take remedial action on issues causing deviation from timeline.
• To ensure Inventory Record Accuracy is maintained.
• Updating Purchase Order Status and also Binning Status or Pathway Status
• Computerization of stores functions, stores management purchases of materials.
The primary objective of this role is responsible for the day to day operation and will be responsible for implementing common and lean principles.
• The main objective of the role is to head the Logistics & Warehouse division and plan supervise supply chain processes while ensuring efficiency.
• • Handling all Warehouse operational activities in a given geography from receipt of finished goods, storage & Handling, Warehouse Management, Product Picking, and Dispatching, Delivery to customers and house keeping ensuring FIFO rule is followed.
•• Manage Stock Control in the System and ensure very high degrees of stock accuracy.
• Supervise the Physical stock and system stock through the Physical perpetual Inventory and Plan and ensure Perpetual Stock take.
• Direct and Supervise the Scheduling of out going Shipments.
• Fully Capable of Planning requirement and Utilizing Trailers, Boom trucks, Pickups (MHE’S) optimally.
• Maintain Safety Standards as set by the Company, for self and the team.
• In - Charge for the monitoring of the first in first out system always.
• Preparation of Monthly Inventory report Division Wise / Aisle Wise.
• Prepares and Submit reports to Operations Manager as to the activities of the day (i.e.) Number of inbound / Outbound Shipments, Destinations and other matter related to day to day activity of the Warehouse.
• Responsible for House Keeping tasks regularly for optimum space utilization and maintain an orderly work area.
• To Schedule, allocate resources, delegate tasks and ensure their implementation and report regularly.
• • Monitor freight carriers to maintain highest service levels and reduce freight costs through effective carrier selection.
• Monitor and make recommendation on Inventory Issues to include Surplus, Obsolete, Slow Moving, Damaged, and Rejected and rework Stock.
