Responsibilities:
• Research, analyze and interpret new laws and legislation by the UAE government and advise clients on best practices to comply to these laws.
• Working with management to provide accurate and timely counsel for clients and devise efficient defense strategies.
• Regularly monitoring compliance of clients’ cases in line with UAE’s rules and regulations, in general, and their specific business governance, in particular.
• Drafting, reviewing and scanning data over documents to ensure corporate deals were legally compliant including (MOA, AOA, Board Resolution, and Shareholders Resolutions).
• Collaborating with external legal partners to assist clients and advise the internal legal team accordingly.
• Advising clients on financial disputes such as filing legal notice for financial payment and/or providing solutions for financial settlement.
• Creating Power of Attorney in different forms in both Arabic and English (general and special POA for both individual and corporates)
• Contributing to the formation of business entities within zones including: Dubai Economy, Free Zone and other Offshore entities.
• Responsible for the Offshore Companies based in RAKICC and JAFZA for any related matter (Incorporation, Liquidation, Renewal of Registration, and any other amendments).
• Drafting Wills for personal estates and completing Wills registration with government authorities.
• Working closely with Ministry of Economy; providing guidance and advice to clients for trademarks registration and renewals.
Responsibilities:
• Working closely with Dubai Land Department to register and execute rental cases according to leasing law.
• Preparing legal notices against defendants (tenants), following up and tracking down the progress of the claim with the defendant.
• Handling claims list along with all necessary documents for the paralegal to submit to court
• Attending internal department meetings to coordinate and prepare lists/documents for every subject case
• Meeting with tenants to discuss regular request and pleas and liaise with the decision makers for whether to move to court or to solve internally.
• Continuous update and scheduling of law cases
Responsible for legal researches: finding out preceding cases relevant to the subject case, relevant statutes, court decisions, legal articles and other writing. Drafting legal documents: drafting documents such as mortgages, separation agreements, real estate closings and other types of contracts. Interviewing witness: and sometimes clients themselves and preparing reports for the lawyer for the case process. Undertaking general administrative duties: filing, answering phone calls, taking messages and answer correspondence.
