1.Be Responsible for the planning and organization of the project’s activities that are under his/her responsibility (national and international training sessions, e-course, seminars, awareness sessions and expert meetings)
2.Be the contact point for the donors, the partners, the project’s staff, the consultants/experts/trainers, the beneficiaries (participants to the training seminars) and the contractual experts (producers, translators…)
3.Monitor project’s activities and expenditure and coordinate work with experts, consultants, participants and volunteers in the projects
4.Identify and ensure close collaboration and coordination with regional and local partners to guarantee successful implementation of activities and achievement of results
5.Develop all the documents related to the organization of the project’s activities (concept paper, project, invitation letters, call for participation…)
6.Be Responsible for submitting activity reports, meeting minutes, steering committee reports and financial reports on regular basis to the internal Management and the donors, and prepare the new funding requests
7.Manage the visibility of the project and maintain updated the web pages and online platforms related to his/her work, in collaboration with the Communication and Media Officer
8.Employ resourcefulness in project design, implementation and monitoring, trouble shoot project problems and Identify and implement creative solutions
9.Ensure Project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the foundation and the donors
manage the information between organisations or individuals and the general public. They promote their clients to their intended audiences through news items, press releases and product placements.
Tasks typically involve:
•liaising on a daily basis with clients and the media, often via telephone and email;
•relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients and the media;
•monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for clients;
•working as part of an account team to develop client proposals and implement the PR activity;
•preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings;
•researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media;
•promoting news stories and features to the media, known as 'selling in';
•collating, analysing and evaluating media coverage;
•event management, including press conferences and promotional events;
•attending and promoting client events to the media;
•assisting with the production of client publications, such as in-house magazines;
•commissioning market research;
•coordinating studio or location photography;
•undertaking research for new business proposals and presenting to potential new clients;
•managing the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation.
