Andalusia Media Group is a well structured media company powered by TwoFour54; divided among 7 different sub-companies, each specializing in a specific field: Marketing and Branding, Design, Media Handling, Events Management, Media Production, PR and Digital Solutions. I was initially positioned as a Media Specialist, however, after receiving recognition for my work and securing the first deal within my first month, Andalusia Media Group's top management decided to promote me to Business Development department of the entire group, while still being able to contribute to the other sub-companies.

My Job Description included:
▪ Generate sales and potential leads.
▪ Guarantee increased reputation and activities.
▪ Ensure sales are maximized, reports and payments are delivered on schedule.
▪ Create proposals, including presentations and quotations.
▪ Manage events and its logistics, venues selection, production and other related tasks.
▪ Manage client's exhibitions through implementing PR and marketing strategies.
▪ Handle and maintain relations with the press and media.
▪ Arrange meetings and ensured client satisfaction; including CEOs, MDs and VIP member.
▪ Handle all customer requirements and deliver accordingly.
▪ Coordinate payments and profits with the finance and accounting departments.
▪ Handle operations with suppliers and potential investors.
▪ Introduce B2B and B2C opportunities as well as sponsors and investors to targeted clients.

After deciding to pursue a new career path, I spent a decent amount of my time juggling around with Bayt.com’s interface - My time on Bayt.com was divided between applying to new opportunities and contributing to the social panel. After a while I got noticed by the Bayt.com Team and was offered to be a moderator for the following subjects:

I was offered a short-term contract in Allure Group which I accepted in an attempt to focus on my career's objectives, and experience working in a company more related to my academic field. Allure Group was a media agency that specialized in marketing and banking solutions; some of major clients included: National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) and Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), among others, GASCO and more.

My Job Description Included:
▪ Formulate basic layout design or presentation approach, and specify material details, such as style and size of type, photographs, graphics, animation, video and sound.
▪ Review and approve proofs of printed copy and art and copy materials developed by staff members.
▪ Manage own accounts and projects, working within budget and scheduling requirements.
▪ Confer with creative, art, copy-writing, or production department heads to discuss client requirements and presentation concepts, and to coordinate creative activities.
▪ Present final layouts to clients for approval.
▪ Confer with clients to determine objectives, budget, background information, and presentation approaches, styles, and techniques.
▪ Hire, train and direct staff members who develop design concepts into art layouts or who prepare layouts for printing.
▪ Work with creative directors to develop design solutions.
▪ Review illustrative material to determine if it conforms to standards and specifications.
▪ Negotiate with printers and estimators to determine what services will be performed.
▪ Prepare detailed storyboards showing sequence and timing of story development for television production.

I have officially launched my career in UAE at Al Hamra Group, which specialized in military and security solutions. Half-way through my journey with Al Hamra Group, I was motivated to add extra value to my company; this resulted in my promotion into a Media and Marketing Manager. Some of my proudest accomplishments include:
▪ Implementation of Al Hamra 30th Anniversary gala dinner.
▪ Full corporate re-branding including the opening of our new offices.
▪ Acquirement of ISO Quality Management certification.
